Curse is useful on many enemies, especially relics. You can never rely on it, which is why units like papalan are dog shit. However, it’s great on Kasli because it isn’t her sole gimmick, rather it’s a bonus which is helpful in circumstances like fighting relics, winged pigge, Henry etc
dark'tanyan is probably the best anti traitless unit in the game IMO. As a rusher, he can get knocked back 6 times and attacks quickly. Not to mention the strengthen after 50% health.
Just letting you know because you seemed confused, the reason nothing seemed effective against winged piggie is because winged piggie weakens your cats by 90%, literally dividing their attack power by 10. Even Colossal Benkei was only doing 51,200 damage per attack once he was weakened. The best way to deal with it is actually dark kasli because she's immune to weaken AND she curses winged piggie, removing it's weaken ability.
Matt, I really want to see you try a COTC 2 outbreak alongside your ZL videos if possible. Also, I reccomend more use of research combos with ramen. Ramen can become as spammable as a normal meatshield in those conditions. Those outbreaks could really use Muu with them. Last thing, remember your cat combos. Sniper on top row, the bad guys, biobone, and Kunio-Kun starts you out at level 3 wallet.

Matt, the 2 best anti-alien cats are Bora's true form and the legend rare from the elemental Pixies set. They both have decreased damage against aliens with Bora having resistance and Lumina (The legend rare) having insanely tough. Bora has massive damage and all the typical Elemental Pixies things. In contrast, Lumina has a 100% chance to weaken to 50% and immunity to weaken with all the typical things for the set ubers.

Guys, I have a really cool idea for a subchapter in ZL! Its like Body and Soul. Basically, the first level, instead of having every variant of "The Face" has every varient of "Ururun Wolf!" I know that there's only a traitless one but they could make red, alien and black! Level 2 has every varient of Lil Nyandam. Level 3 is Red Reding Minas Level 4 is the Multiversal Studios guy (i forget his name) Level 5 is all the Mecha-Buns (including Relic Bun) And the finale, Level 6 is a face off against every original SoL boss at the same time! So, basically Ururun Wolf, Lil Nyandam, Mina, Toshima something something (whatever hes called) and Mecha-Bun all at once! PLUS, they spam a buncha peons and if you don't beat it in time, you can say hello to infinite assasin bears until you die.
Kasli cursing that winged pigge in the third stage was one of the few times the curse had proper strategical purpose
