I played this challenge just before watching this video and I "skipped" several things: - the switchboard at 8:40, - the hole at 12:57, - the switches at 14:00 are just for fun to turn on flashing lights in the next room, - the door at 17:37 is not needed, you can go around it a different way, - 17:57 is a checkpoint to skip the moving wall after you've made it once, - 18:10 is another checkpoint that I didn't see, ScrapMan could have skipped that whole parkour area because it unlocked early for him. 30:02 is a switch giving you an extra spudgun in a wall behind you (ScrapMan didn't see it because he did not look around).

The bomb launching thing at 25:35 gives me a fun Multiplayer Madness idea. Each person has to devise a long range bomb throwing device that has to penetrate multiple layers of cardboard and glass. Could be cluster bombs, or a chain reaction perhaps. Whoever's bombs penetrate the furthest with a single launch wins?
Now THIS is what I wish EVERY escape room in Scrap Mechanic and other games were like. Not hard complex puzzles, but more of exercising your brain for a few minutes to figure out what to do, and then doing it.
I liked how there ware always good clues and instructions. Like the orientation of panels and the wheel spinners. Knowing that the speed is on/off is one thing, but there is even verification in the room which is which.
I'm not sure if I'm correct on this but I swear to God he played this exact escape room at some other point on his channel but I'm not sure I swear I've seen this exact escape room somewhere before.
Someone needs to make an escape room that has 2 paths one seems like instant death and is actually an instant win and the other a straight path that is an instant loose just as a troll
Point of order: Aren't all escape rooms unnecessarily convoluted? We invented doors and latches a long time ago and they're pretty simple. Everything beyond that is just access deterrent.
You know what, scrapman was the first huge youtuber to like my comment and the worst part is i was tired when i wrote it, when i corrected the Grammer it deleted the like heart thingy you get so i was litterally devastated but it was kinda funny
The funny thing with the pink parcour the pusher is that there was a lift that just brought you up to the end-location that already functioned so you never had to do the actual parcour.
If I was playing scrap mechanic and was doing this escape room challenge I would do one section at a time instead of going on ahead without doing them, I would do each section in order

day 29 of asking scrapman to do a mm in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed shiip and has 30 mintues to build a vheicle, no glitches, thrusters allowed

At 17:40 you asked what the lines on the floor by the door were and I'm pretty sure it's simply to mark where the door moves.
