Have you thought about installing cat delete pipe? I actually did it on my 2014 CB1000R plus Yoshimura R55 exhaust, Bazzaz fuel controller and K&N air filter. After these mods I adjusted fueling on dyno. Bike now has 154hp instead of factory 125. It sounds absolutely epic and is lighter. If you do the same things on your CB the result will be fantastic. Dyno tuning completely changed my bike. Apart from gaining power throttle response improved massively and generally bike runs smoother.
I’d love to. Sounds like it would be splendid. But i can’t delete the cats in Germany as the bike would then be highly illegal! We get tested for emissions here in Germany too, so it’s an all round no go!
@@AndyManCam Yeah without cats it sounds like an F1 car really. I think we are heading the same direction and soon cats will be required on bikes as well. I am going to enjoy it until I can :)

Really enjoying the videos Andy👍🏻 I’m currently looking into the Honda myself and everytime I watch a video I’m being swayed more and more towards the CB1000R. Definitely going to do some miles around Europe when I’ve made the purchase and your vids are certainly pointing me towards touring Germany etc. Keep up the good work👍🏻😉
Classy & Sharp mate 👌 😎 it looks like the bike & the scene there are made for you 🙂 i have a 2019 one and did the first 600 miles break in, i changed oil to Castrol Actevo 10W30. After next 3000 miles i will switch to Motul 7100 4T with K&N 204 filter. Nice to see you back putting video footage out again. I myself nearly bought the CB1000r , but ended up buying a Z1000sx . Great quality and funny as well ! . Keep it up Andy
Thanks Dave! You'll be glad to know that I've already got a mountain of footage from this lovely new machine, just waiting to be edited! Lots more to come! The Z900 was on my shortlist too, the Kwaks are great bikes. It was the styling of the Honda that swayed me though!
I have one too, love it. Bought the standard version but added OEM heated grips, quickshifter and the 'meter shield'. My other bike is a 2013 VFR1200F (same as your Mum's partner). The VFR is like riding the Titantic compared to the CB.
I've just fitted some Koso heated grips I bought on Louis Moto. they were 60 quid posted and don't have that ugly control panel like Oxford do. You've got a controller by the left grip instead and the install is ultra clean, factory like. I certainly recommend.
@@AndyManCam yeah, I ran across them when I was looking for something subtle. Koso were just cheeper but Daytonas look even cleaner 👍🏻 I'm surprised Oxford as a leading brand for heated grips haven't brought anything looking smarter so far 🤷♂️
CB1000R: the best-looking naked there is. Inline fours are more flexible that people think. I remember the torque on my old B-King; the most tractable engine I've experienced. You could go through villages in top at 20 mph on zero throttle. But 265 kg wet ... Interesting video. I'm glad I subscribed.
Love the new bike I've got the smaller brother fast enough for me they are really we put together. Once you have had it a while if you borrow someone's bike your really realise how smooth it feels.
Breaking in a new engine is as you say "somewhat eh whatever" Assuming its from one of the reputable brands anyway. My GSX-S 1000 was run in at the Nürburgring. And burns no oil and rides like a dream. Even after what most would consider a brutal break in. (i did emphasise smooth gear changes) but once it was warm it got to use ALL its power :)... What is more important is getting used to your ride safely, and obviously maintaining the thing!
I love my Knox zephyr jacket, great for touring, I now work on a layering system using the waterproof off the bike as well, but when we were in Spain last summer in 42 degree heat it was awesome, Keep up the good work with the vids!
Thanks very much Brett! YOu should see the roads we did the week after! You'Re in for a treat mate! 5 days of incredible twisties in southern germany and northern france. Good luck with thew spruce up!
Great bike, always love a Honda anyway but that's an especially nice example of why I like them - efficient and refined but not brash. I'm looking forward to you adding the usual array of toys and add-ons (though maybe not carbon this time eh?) and eventually popping its tour cherry.
Tyre scrubbing in will always need doing. Took my brand new Duke 790 out the other week, Cold road, cold tyres, 15mph round a bend and slid straight out. Ended up on my knees thinking WTF!?
@@AndyManCam cheers mate, I was watching your tour of Croatia with your parents the other day and shocked me when you low sided. Was so similar to mine, difference is you laughed and I swore 🤣
Hey Andy. I’ve had mine for around 18 months now. The seat is atrocious as you’ve started to discover. I’ve not touched mine yet however I noticed I was getting a very high vibration buzz at certain revs and found a product called grip puppies (Honda unofficially recommended them). They work a treat if you find similar issues. Other than that it’s a fantastic bike. Enjoy.
Hey Ross. I actually find the seat far better than the FZ1 seat (shows how bad that one was!). But yeah, it's really comfy, until suddenly it's really not! The high vibration is bothering me a little, though I'm finding that it's different, depending on which garage I filled up at and which grade of fuel I chose. I haven't been able to tie it down to which is the bikes favourite yet. I also found that it buzzed more with a Mivv end can on. It's the only niggle so far. Oh that and that the handlebars are far too narrow for me! Serious wrist pain after a longer tour!
AndyManCam I had not thought to associate it with petrol. Have used various “makes” and super to normal makes no difference. It actually was ok when running in. At about 3,400 miles now (yep taken a while) and got a little worse and more frustrating. Like you said other than that no issues and a lovely bike - oh maybe one - sun reflecting back at you from the screen but perhaps an anti glare transparent layer would sort that
Definitely looking forward to more on the CB1000R. My local dealer has a couple of ex demo bikes for sale at the moment. Maybe look for similar next year, as I’m only seven months into a pcp at the moment.
You and me both Mark! ALready got 5000km on her now and almost all of it was recorded, naturally! The price I got was simply far too good to pass up! It was almost 25% off list price.
Thanks! Yeah it's almost perfect! Having a bit of trouble with the bars, but that means there'll be a bar swap video coming soon! ;D Oh and heated grips at the same time!
Delighted for you Andy with your new purchase, absolute beauty indeed! Love the vid with the just go where the mood takes me, biking trips can be destroyed nowadays with pesky routes and deadlines, kudos for binning the electronics although I suspect a bit of help in fine tuning was used👍 All said, enjoy your new bike and very well wear sir! No doubt the content to come is gonna be inspiring, I most certainly look forward to!
Thanks Jerry! The panniers are brilliant! A definite step up from the Blaze panniers, and I think they fit the style of the Honda perfectly. I'm really happy with them.
Back in the day a CB1000 had a seat height of around 790mm and fit me quite well, now I'd need a step ladder..... not sure when most bikes started to be made only for people 6' and over. I guess you could say I'm a Honda guy, but I have to say I kind of miss the FZ1..... Sounds like Honda still use the same horn as they did in the ''80's..... why do you keep catching it? Have they moved it to where the indicators should be like on some of their other models? No idea why they changed it, everyone copied Honda's layout. Great vid as always, and rain, which is always good for a laugh! You could have taken a map, that wouldn't have been 'caving in' and would have made a 'bessie' for the compass. Yes, we do have Dr Otkher in the UK ....other pizza's are available, but not as good! Mr Fish seemed to find things a little 'bumpy' on the B roads compared to what he's used to....enjoy your new bike...
From a selfish point of view, it seemd that there was a period when bikes just kept getting smaller and smaller and nothing fit me any more! Now finally one is a bit bigger and I'm like a pig in muck! Yeah, the indicator is now the lowest button and the horn is in the middle. D'oh!
Thanks Niklas! I'm still not sure! I've never had a factory warranty before and I'm a little scared of what Mr Honda will think of a non honda quickshifter!! :O Would certainly like to though.
@@AndyManCam Yeah, that's true.. Maybe ask if the dealer can make the installation, that may help? Or do you know if the OEM QS can be easily retrofitted to your bike, may be a bit more expensive though. But yeah, It's an awesome bike with or without QS, nevertheless.. :)
Thanks to you Andy I've just bought a cb1000r + it is a phenomenal bike and I now know why you bought one. Keep it hush tho, I've still.got a couple of old SV vids to edit 😂😂 Cant wait to get some vlogging on her and maybe confer on the riding and mods👍
@@AndyManCam yes and thank you.. its not your typical naked rocket.. the lowdown torque is immense when you realise thats what this bikes about. Pulling away from a 30 zone in 6th gear because I can. Got a couple of mods coming. Stay tuned 👍
Cheers Craig! Exciting times mate! I felt that the Honda had a sort of similar feel to the S1000R tbh. Good strong and tight engine, aggressive riding position, but lovely and smooth. For me, the Honda was just a little bit more quirky. Though I think a lot of that is down to the very inferior suspension compared to your BMW!! :D
Andy , thanks for the videos about your new Honda. What do you think about the look of the 2021 model ? If I have to choose, would a CB1000r+ like yours at a sale price be a better choice over the latest one ? Not sure about the new styling except for the all black one..... Kind regards, Rex( keep up the good work ! ).
Many thanks Rex, cheers for watching! Given the choice, I'd 100% go for the last years model at the sale price. The bike is essentially the same. I even think they've made it look a bit worse with the 'updates'. I wouldn't have been able to afford the Honda if it weren't for the discounts due to the impending 'new model' release.
Glad to see you're doing the proper break in Andy! Love my Knox kit it's very good isnt it 👍 But why is everyone buying the CB1000R atm.. Speed Triple RS didnt take your fancy?
Yeah it’s good gear mate. Loving the Shirt today in the 30 degree heat in middle Germany! I REALLY fancied the Triple RS, but was almost 50% more to buy and twice as much to insure!! The CB just felt a really good fit.
Great video. Made my day as I haven't ridden in several days now due to storms (eastern virginia sucks some summers with lightening storms). Honda looks great! You'll ride many a fine mile on that. I have my 14 CBR500R set up with Honda's hard bags and have ridden out of state more than once. Keep the videos coming. Have you had the opportunity to ride in the US?
Thanks Richard! That's annoying, but I'm happy to help! I can see that it's easy to become a Honda fan! Never ridden in the US I'm afraid. I'd like to at some point. I've driven over there a few times.
I'm sure that Healtec will sort u out with a quick shifter and maybe some other company will sort out some heated grips....keep the great videos coming... 👍
Oxford have never replied to my emails, so I bought myself some Daytona grips. We'll see how that goes. They look good though. Switch is in the rubber, so no control box. Quickshifter is under consideration!
Thanks Peter! As long as the gearbox isn't crashing and smashing and you don't have to force the pedal, then I don't see why not. It's essentially just a slower version of what the factory quick shifter does. I have dialled it down a bit though! Just for a more relaxed ride! I quickshift, but with a dab of the clutch now!
@@AndyManCam its part of the uniqueness off Andymancam, that ii is not perfect when you are out and about, it very human, and it is also what us common motorcycle guys experience.!!!
Hi Andy, what exhaust are you running? And, are you happy with it? Thanks for some awesome content! Just found your channel since I was searching for CB1000R related content. Just bought one myself.
Ah, remember when it was new….Just had to revisit this vid. I thought this was an inspired choice, because it was not your usual touring bike. Maybe it didn’t work out perfectly, but what the heck, why not do what you want. Luck with the new(ish) one. Oops, my brain 🧠 just stopped again. Cheers 👍🇨🇦🤪
Absolutely! It didn’t work as i‘d rather optimistically hoped, but so what!? At least now i know, because i tried!! (And it looked pretty cool while i was trying!!)
Good stuff as per usual. 👍 I wouldn't go down the heated grip route. I've been using Gerbing heated gloves (heating elements throughout the glove not just the back of the hands) for the past 3 winters and they're sooooo much better than heated grips! Combine them with a heated shirt and you're in heaven. Why the scaffolding pannier route and not the previous SW Motech panniers with the removable support arms?
I did consider exactly that! But I've had so many times on summer rides where the temp has dropped and I could switch the grips on and continue riding without having to stop and change the gloves. Plus for me personally, I'm always trying desperately to minimise the number of devices I have to charge up every night in the hotel room!! XD
Cheers! I totally agree! A few ergonomic adjustments to make it perfect, but it's an easy mile muncher! Hopefully I'll not feel the need for a new one for some time yet!
I’m 62 should I buy the Honda cb1000r like you and have fun or should I do the old person thing and buy a Honda vfr1200 crosstouer with a nice shaft drive and impeccable manners.
That’s a tough question to answer! Depends what’s more important. For me, it was the looks and the fun. And the fact that the Crosstourer is about 25kg heavier! But i can see the argument for comfort and impeccable manners getting stronger with every backache as my years also advance!
Haha! No problem at all! No, the 'Blaze' semi rigid panniers don't have a frame for this bike. I think that due to the shorter tail, they would also stick out too far backwards and obscure the indicators. These are the 'Urban ABS' panniers on an SLC pannier rack. They're REALLY good! You can lock them to the frame from inside, and then lock the zips with the combination locks that come in the kit. So you can leave the bike for coffee breaks and no opportunist thief can have away with your stuff! More details coming in a video near you soon! ;D
Great vid Andy, be interested in your future review of the gloves, bought a pair of size large, fingers seem a bit short and thumb a bit long hoping they’ll break in a bit more, problems of buying online during the pandemic and not being able to try on first.
Thanks! I actually found the same. I couldn't have a bigger size, as the hand would be too baggy, but the thumb is a bit long. They've definitely broken in well though. Far more comfortable now.
Horn works 🤣 (not taking the zip... well I am 😁 but we all done summink similar getting used to a bike) ! Riding just on a compass nice idea. Need to find one not interefered with by bike electrics n good place to put it 👌 Top video production again. Nice ride. Prefer my "liter" bike tho 😏
Until this week at least*, recently, it has been fine. Everything a touring motorcyclist needs is open (though fewer places open to eat lunch on the road than usual), you just have to wear masks when inside and obviously, respect social distancing in general. Just got back myself from a tour last week and it was nearly like normal... (* - sadly, things look like they are getting worse again and it might soon not be possible again :( )
It certainly is starting to look grim again over here. Something will have to change in order to slow things down again. They want to avoid a lockdown, but international travel could well be the sacrifice.
Four toots on the horn by mistake and that's only after 18mins! Others have also complained about Honda's horn button placement, swapped with the std indicator placement! I find the same with BMW and my RE 650.
Hi Andy love the Chanel. Im sure you have already been asked but could you do an in-depth comparison between the fz1 and cb1000 From your point of view as I'm really thinking about getting an fz1/s1000r/cb1000 thanks
Thanks Martin! That's a great idea. I'll see if I can squeeze it in. There certainly are pros and cons for both and things that one does better than the other.
Glad you like the Honda. I tried it but found it too buzzy. Settled on a new MT10. Running it in now. Not beautiful like the Honda , it just suited me way better , wee transformer face and all.
Google suckage is a given! Luckily this time I didn't care! I'm slowly getting used to the horn button! Though in panic moments, I still try to beeep the horn with the indicator!!
Bro I have a question pleez ! It is cold here where I am (30 degrees Fahrenheit) I let my CB1000R idle outside for 30 minutes and noticed the coolant draining from 1 of the 2 little hoses by the kickstand ! It lost almost a cup of it. Is this normal ? I added an equal amount of coolant back into the reservoir but still did same thing until reservoir was 1/4 full. Bike got only 620 miles on the Odo FYI. I did the first oil change at 560 miles with Castrol Actevo 10W30 4T 4 days ago.
I’ve never noticed water leaking out of my bike, but i also don’t think I’ve ever let it ruin idle for 30 minutes! I’d say until the temp gets up to 80°C is more than enough for a warm up. But maybe something is not right if it’s constantly jettisoning water.
Thanks Miklos! I didn’t im afraid. Although i decided that the style and spec didnt excite me nearly as much as that of the CB, so it was removed from the very short shortlist.
Nothing beats that new bike smell.... that heady combo of petroleum mixed with warm factory polish, paint and plastics. Nice to see yr out dodging showers and hitting the cobbles again.

I have one too, love it. Bought the standard version but added OEM heated grips, quickshifter and the 'meter shield'. My other bike is a 2013 VFR1200F (same as your Mum's partner). The VFR is like riding the Titantic compared to the CB.
I've got some grips and am looking at quickshifter possibilites as we speak. Awesome bike and I can see I'm going to enjoy it very much!
I've just fitted some Koso heated grips I bought on Louis Moto. they were 60 quid posted and don't have that ugly control panel like Oxford do. You've got a controller by the left grip instead and the install is ultra clean, factory like. I certainly recommend.
Excact reason I had Kosos on my previous Duke, instead of hideous looking Oxfords.. They look so cheap..
I’ve got a set of Daytonas to fit. The button is actually in the grip, so super subtle. Hopefully they’ll live up to expectations!
Thanks! I totally agree. She's utterly stunning, from all angles!! And yeah, the motor is the most useable inline I've erm... used!
It's really nice to see you enjoying your new pony, Andy. And she does look good! Have fun buddy. :)
Thanks John! I most certainly will, and have been! 5000km in the first month! Teapot one, eat your heart out!!
Good day Andy, nice video as always I am sure you will enjoy the Honda as much as the Yammie, stay safe
Thanks very much Leon! I'm sure too. Couple of small adjustments to be made, like always, but it's a tremendous bike!
Another excellent video Andy. So glad you are enjoying the new ride. I think the CB might be a cobble magnet.......
Certainly seems like it!
Love the new bike I've got the smaller brother fast enough for me they are really we put together. Once you have had it a while if you borrow someone's bike your really realise how smooth it feels.
Good to see you loving the bike Andy!
Cheers Stuart! Loving the rubber off it! First set of tyres toasted already! :D
Excellent. Mr Fish has just released a video about his CB1000R. Going to be interesting seeing what mods you both do.
I know right! I think we'll certainly overlap a little, but will be good to see the personal differences too!
Yep, you definitely need to get the Honda heated grips, they’re pretty damn good... and the quick shifter, you’ll wonder how you lived without it.
I do find myself missing the shifter. Although the gearbox is som much smoother, that it's not as missed a sit was on the Yamaha!
I tested the Urbane Pro this weekend for the first time in 32 degrees. Man am I glad I didn't have leathers!
Loved it!! Nice work mate, amazing roads to explore indeed! I seriously need to work on my channel! Cheers for the inspiration!
Cheers! No I reckon this is NOT a carbon bike. Far too gentlemanly for that flashy nonsense!
Tyre scrubbing in will always need doing. Took my brand new Duke 790 out the other week, Cold road, cold tyres, 15mph round a bend and slid straight out. Ended up on my knees thinking WTF!?
Ouch! That's bad news, sorry mate.
@@AndyManCam cheers mate, I was watching your tour of Croatia with your parents the other day and shocked me when you low sided. Was so similar to mine, difference is you laughed and I swore 🤣
Oh don't worry, I swore a bit afterwards too! 😆
Like you said other than that no issues and a lovely bike - oh maybe one - sun reflecting back at you from the screen but perhaps an anti glare transparent layer would sort that
Loving the compass navigation!
I think that all bikes should have a compass on them! :D
That tank bag absolutely spoils the beauty of the bike in my view
Sad but true. But then without luggage, the touring would be a little bit difficult!
@@AndyManCam well tank bags do give a sense of protection aswell :)
A really nice and different choice of Bike :) you look comfortable on it! I agree it needs heated grips and a quick shifter!
Thanks! Yeah it's almost perfect! Having a bit of trouble with the bars, but that means there'll be a bar swap video coming soon! ;D Oh and heated grips at the same time!
Enjoy the new bike Andy, love my Knox kit, quality...
Delighted for you Andy with your new purchase, absolute beauty indeed! Love the vid with the just go where the mood takes me, biking trips can be destroyed nowadays with pesky routes and deadlines, kudos for binning the electronics although I suspect a bit of help in fine tuning was used👍
All said, enjoy your new bike and very well wear sir! No doubt the content to come is gonna be inspiring, I most certainly look forward to!
Cheers Mark. I know right! Sometimes we need to just head out and see what happens!
Nice ride Andy... you’ve always been particularly fond of the Honda’s!
I have! I even considered a Crossrunner a while back. I like the refined and well finished nature of the things. Honda do good stuff, in my eyes.
38 seconds to first beep. Andy, thanks for the laffs. Another great vid mate.
Haha! You didn't see the ones I already cut out just getting there!! :D
Nice video, those panniers look great on the Honda. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Jerry! The panniers are brilliant! A definite step up from the Blaze panniers, and I think they fit the style of the Honda perfectly. I'm really happy with them.
There was mini poltergeist moving your butter across the table at 25.15!
😱
D'oh!
Great stuff once again Andy. One question though, when are you going to 'Healtech' the Honda? 🤗
I’ve got the plus model, great bike
I totally agree! Such a great machine!
Great video Andy, how beautiful is East Germany.
Thanks Barry! It really is. Such lovely open and rolling green, wherever you look! I think it gets even more so, as you head east and south of Berlin.
PS Tee shirt arrived today, great service fantastic quality thankyou
Thanks to you Andy I've just bought a cb1000r + it is a phenomenal bike and I now know why you bought one. Keep it hush tho, I've still.got a couple of old SV vids to edit 😂😂 Cant wait to get some vlogging on her and maybe confer on the riding and mods👍
Oops! Sorry! (not sorry!) I was blown away by the test ride and just had to have it! I'm sure your experiecne was exactly the same! Congrats!
@@AndyManCam yes and thank you.. its not your typical naked rocket.. the lowdown torque is immense when you realise thats what this bikes about. Pulling away from a 30 zone in 6th gear because I can. Got a couple of mods coming. Stay tuned 👍
Good vid andy as usual 👍glad you are loving the new bike 😎waiting for delivery on the new s1000r .
Beautiful backgrounds audio and visuals!
Andy , thanks for the videos about your new Honda.
What do you think about the look of the 2021 model ?
If I have to choose, would a CB1000r+ like yours at a sale price be a better choice over the latest one ? Not sure about the new styling except for the all black one.....
Kind regards,
Rex( keep up the good work !
Hi, thank for this wonderful nice video! Wonder where did you get the nice wind shield on your bike?
Thanks! It's an SW-Motech Alu SHield. It's REALLY well made and looks great, I think!
Good job really enjoyed the ride.
Thanks Lee!
Glad to see you're doing the proper break in Andy! Love my Knox kit it's very good isnt it 👍 But why is everyone buying the CB1000R atm.. Speed Triple RS didnt take your fancy?
LCR, possibly because it's a very lot of bike(!!) for the money? (like the MT10 was (and to some degree, still is), a couple of years ago...)
Yeah it’s good gear mate. Loving the Shirt today in the 30 degree heat in middle Germany! I REALLY fancied the Triple RS, but was almost 50% more to buy and twice as much to insure!! The CB just felt a really good fit.
Too true, Matt.
Great vid Andy.
Cheers Noel! Glad you enjoyed it
Great video.
Quality again
Many thanks Glyn!
Always enjoy your vids, congratulations again on new bike 😎🏍💨💨💨💨🇨🇦 Nice coffee and pastries stop
Thanks John! That cafe was a great little find! And quiet too. They had ONE customer for the whole time I was there!
Another great video Andy, thank you.
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it and you'Re very welcome!
Great video again nice bike do you clutch less shifts all the time is that ok for a new bike
Thanks Peter! As long as the gearbox isn't crashing and smashing and you don't have to force the pedal, then I don't see why not. It's essentially just a slower version of what the factory quick shifter does. I have dialled it down a bit though! Just for a more relaxed ride! I quickshift, but with a dab of the clutch now!
yet a good vid, from the master off detours and horn bibs
Haha! It used to be rain, now it'S button mix ups!! I'll take it though! :D
@@AndyManCam its part of the uniqueness off Andymancam, that ii is not perfect when you are out and about, it very human, and it is also what us common motorcycle guys experience.!!!
Good to see you are enjoying the new bike 👍 I like the 'accidental horn toots' 😂
Thanks Scott! I think the toots will be here for a little while yet! Still doing it after 5000km! !
AndyManCam You’ve certainly done some miles then! 👍
Another great vid matey😁 Enjoy your new bike....
Hi Andy, what exhaust are you running? And, are you happy with it?
Thanks for some awesome content! Just found your channel since I was searching for CB1000R related content. Just bought one myself.
Hey Steen. I’ve got the Arrow Pro-Race dark. Very happy with it 👍🏻
You are deffo a rain magnet
Not always though. Just most of the time. And only when I'm on a bike! XD
@@AndyManCam damn straight! 👍
😎
Good stuff as per usual. 👍
I wouldn't go down the heated grip route.
XD
come and visit transfagarasan and transalpine in romania, the most beautiful roads for motorcyclist
I would love to! That road looks truly awesome!
CB1000R ?
This is a very good motorcycle.
I totally agree! I’m loving it!
@@AndyManCam I have to say, I wasn't sure about the new CB, but you've changed my mind! :) (especially in that colour!)
Hi AMC! What kind of slip-on do you use? Do you use flash or using power commander too?
I did have a mivv mk3, but no flash OR powercommander. It was too buzzy, so I’ve gone back to stock.
Nice film. What is the helmet you are wearing.?
Thanks! It's a Nishua Carbon Enduro.
Lovely bike, A Honda will do it all. i love my vfr cross runner, but how i would like to buy a new one! good vid, shame about the rain!
Cheers! I totally agree! A few ergonomic adjustments to make it perfect, but it's an easy mile muncher! Hopefully I'll not feel the need for a new one for some time yet!
Never had any issues with low down on my FZ1
Me neither! But more is MORE! 😊
AndyManCam more is always more betterer.
Nice new bike fella. Enjoy. 😬👍🏻🏍
Thanks, will do!
Hey Andy, are you measuring your in kph or mph on the CB1000? Thanks for a response if I get one good sir 🍻
Haha! KM/h. I'm not as fast as it may look like I am!
Hey Andy, hate to leave one of "those" questions, but are those your usual SW Motec semi rigid panniers? They look great!
Haha! It's good to test it frequently, in case something suddenly breaks! :D
Missing our Germany trip this year : -( how is it over there for motorcycle tourists and accommodation Andy ?
Until this week at least*, recently, it has been fine. Everything a touring motorcyclist needs is open (though fewer places open to eat lunch on the road than usual), you just have to wear masks when inside and obviously, respect social distancing in general. Just got back myself from a tour last week and it was nearly like normal... (* - sadly, things look like they are getting worse again and it might soon not be possible again :( )
@@mattmutane5502 Thanks Matt, always good to get info from an actual traveller.
Can you not add the Honda Quickshifter? as it's on the plus model
You can, but it's 700€ to buy one!! :O
@@AndyManCam Expensive, but it will downshift as well? do you not feel clutchless shift will damage the gearbox eventually?.
Not long bought a 790 duke, now wished I'd bought one of those but they are a tad expensive though.
Sorry about that!! They are a bit lumpy for the equipment spec, but I got a GREAT deal. Worked out about the same price as an MT-09. :D
I own the red version. Since almost 12k all good, trusty and fun 👍😊
Very good to know! Thanks! Oh and, nice bike! ;)
Well, you made my day.
Very happy to hear that Mick! It makes my day too, every time I get to even just look at this fine beast for a few minutes!!
She's a beauty mate 👍🤘
"what I've all been waiting for" that's a new one 😂👍
Now finished watching, nice ride and I'm glad you are really enjoying the bike.
Haha! I didn't want to suppose that everybody was as excited as I was!! :D
@@AndyManCam 😂👍
Glad you like the Honda. I tried it but found it too buzzy. Settled on a new MT10. Running it in now. Not beautiful like the Honda , it just suited me way better , wee transformer face and all.
Welcome to the Honda world of accidental horn beeps. 😊 Google maps seems to be sucking exponentially here as well. 🇨🇦
Congrats to your new toy! Just wondering, did you have a chance to test the Kawasaki Z900RS as well?
Thanks Miklos! I didn’t im afraid. Although i decided that the style and spec didnt excite me nearly as much as that of the CB, so it was removed from the very short shortlist.
Id love to own that bike, it is mint!
Them east german roads tho 😬
Great video, Cheers Andy 🤜⚡🤛
It really is a belter! You can share mine through the videos! ;D
