Thank you! You don't know how many times that I have been on the DREAM and now I know what adapter I need to get to expand my recharging LOL! I go again in April 😊
That why you you need to purchase a european 220v adaptor. To allow you to plug your 110v US items into it. Its general electronics, like phones or cpap machines. Which are already dual voltage.
I am glad you found it interesting. everyone needs more plugs and sockets on their cruises. me included. this plug is the same one I point out and the same one on the desk. so a couple of the adaptors should work perfect for a cruise.
Why would I want a 220 outlet in the cabin, in my home in the US I only use 220 for the clothes drier and the oven. I would never plug in a device other than those two ever into a 220 outlet.
That is the whole idea of the 220v ADAPTER. The plug eliminate one leg of the voltage so you get 110/120v. Which gives you an additional 110v plug near the bed. CPAP machines are perfect example of the reason to have a plug close to your bed.
They have them mainly because the ship was built in Europe. With a travel adaptor you can plug in other countries sockets. Most practical items are dual voltage these days. Like phones, tablets, cpap machine and shavers.

This is very helpful... man I have watched 1000s of videos and no one has covered this 🤷🏽♂️😂👍🏽
It's the 21 years working on ships that teaches you these things.

We found it and have used it the last 3 cruises! Buy one with USB adaptors and you can charge your phone right at the bed!
Exactly. Such a bonus to know you can use your devices just like home.

Last year we used the 220 adapters and 2 fans burned.
Perhaps the fans you brought onboard were 110v l. Not dual voltage or 220v.
see ya soon carnival dream
Hopefully your going to love your cruise.
