I just signed up for the September box! It will be a first ever and I was hesitant to try it out. I don’t know why I didn’t think of searching videos before. This was so helpful! I am very excited to get mine!!
Thanks for all the information!!! What a memory you've got! To my nose BREATH OF GOD is a true masterpiece: obviously not a crowd-pleaser, but pure art for the nose! P.S.: Because Finley recently asked, please April! I'm dying to know: Which would be your 3 LUSH desert island products?
@@nancypanousi9403 thanks and YW! 😊 Oh my gosh my three desert island products. Okay theyre are Retro/Discontinued products. Those would be Buddha Bar solid shampoo, Skinny Dip original formula, and Roller bath bomb. Great description of Breath of God btw, pure art for the nose.
The Jasmine is very strong! I wouldn't dare wear it for work around colleagues. Even at home it's going to be in small sections of my body. It does bring back memories of having a Jasmine covered veranda so I like it from that aspect.
The August box is the first kitchen box I’ve signed up for and I couldn’t be happier! The flying fox /godiva scent is one of my favorites. I wish they made more products with the R&B/Revive scent though, that’s my ultimate fav! Thanks for all your knowledgeable info, I’m going to reference your videos from now on. Your website is such a life saver too!
Hi April, back when I worked at a Lush-store my Supervisor from the United States told me that there are really different preferences regarding to scents in every nation. She said that Americans usually love Flying fox/Lust/Godiva etc. But Germans don't. We would prefere more fresh citrussy scents. I have a Lust cream perfume, but I can stand it only in microdosing... 😂 So in Germany you will find a lot of people like you. Thanks for your video. I skipped the box, because I still have too many products to use up. ❤❤❤
I tried mixing this jelly& gel together. Ie rubbing on happy 4 sad, then a little Prince Charming in my hands then all over. I swear it reminded me so much of the old school Magic sent! At least similar!
How do you feel about the Godiva shampoo bar. I belive there are only 2 additional ingredients in that one then the flying fox. I ask because i like the Godiva shampoo bar and have never tried flying fox anything.
I suspected that would be the answer but I can understand. I fell the same way about rose jam. I just am not a rose in anything person. It's not because it's got the old women stariotype rose products get. It just physically nosiates me to smell for some odd reason.@MSlushalot
I can’t lie I hated the smell of exhale, however I’m ELATED for everything else in the box. Especially Prince Charming cause it means I can finally use up the one I’ve been holding on to forever >:)
@@maddieazriel lol, no kidding right. Same. :) Yeah, i get how folks wouldnt like it. Its strongly woody and kind of..smoky? Exhale is not what i would call a popular scent. 😊 I like it, but if i had to seperate them i would say i like the inhale scent much more. Its got more of a pretty vibe.
I've been buying Lush since 1996 and have a weird relationship with Flying Fox. I loved the shower gel as a teenager, though something in it irritated my skin. I still bought it into my 20s and by the time I got to my 30s, i finally bought Lust (in the old packaging). I still have about 96% of it and it's well over 10 years old now I'm in my early 40s! When the Retro products came to Glasgow, I bought two bottles and neither of them have been touched. I expected to love it, but didn't. I've fallen out of Lust with Flying Fox! I always much preferred Alkmaar, Turbo, Jasmine Cream, Winter Garden.
I do love hearing the information about products and why they choose that name for them. I did smell Flying Fox and liked it but there was this undertone/afternote i was very unsure off not sure what it was. It smelt as if it had been sitting there a while and went off which i know isnt the case. Theres some popular Lush scents everyone raves about but I dont get it at all like Grass or Super Milk. Everyone's personal preference is different
I’m curious how you usually use your shower jellies? I usually whip them in the blender but I kindof don’t want to with this one. But I find I end up wasting a lot of product when I use jellies whole.
@@angelica502x Hi hon, i usually chop it or slice it into smaller pieces. Then i'll put them in one of those plastic kitchen seives and use it in the bath to make bath foam. It doesnt color the bath water but it does make foam. Its not bubbles like the bubble bars make but the foam is nice, and you also have the scent of the jelly. 😊

I agree with you on the lust scent, my daughter bought the lust solid perfume, and if she wears it around me, I feel nauseous 😂
@@sherylmeredith6835 Hello there! 👋🏼 I dont feel so alone now. 😄
I love the Flying Fox scent but I never liked it in lotion form. Shower gel, perfume, jelly, temple balm - everything lovely. As lotion: blergh 😅
I loved this box. Just a little disappointed with the staying power of exhale. After 2 hours its GONE
