There's the Sothern Reach trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer that is about a biologist and some weird plant stuff. I only read the first book cause nature creeps me out but most of what I have heard has been pretty positive

My favorite plant-y book is The Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan (nonfiction). I read that my freshman year of college and I still think about it frequently (even though that was over 10 years ago, lol). I'm planning to read Braiding Sweetgrass this year!
I found your channel today and I love it so much! I studied Ecology so the mix of books and nature is heaven! You should definitely read 'The Secret Life of trees!' You'll love it if you loved Entangled Life it's SO fascinating - trees are actually so cool!

I am currently reading A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers which is a cozy Sci-fi book about a future world where a tea monk and a robot meet and have philosophical conversations. And it also has some wonderful descriptions of plants and nature so far so maybe you would enjoy it as well! 🥰
Okay so I haven´t read this one yet but it has been on my tbr for ages and i think it has some of those vibes... it´s called "Uprooted" by Naomi Novik and its a fantasy story. I`m hoping to read it soon! Love your videos!! 🌿🌺💛
Oh! And also another rec (and this one i have read) is the raven boys series. Its not reeeally about plants specifically but it has a magic forest and the main character loves plants and trees so yeah hjklahskkrbt

if you enjoy nature inspired reads, i would definitely suggest reading The Hidden Life of Trees! and for a fictional read, The Overstory :)
