I'm convinced that grief for the death of others is a survival mechanism. Strong emotions trigger the brain to process the data more, and when you grieve for long periods you spend more time thinking about things like what you could have done differently. Solitary animals don't grieve, because their survival doesn't correlate with the survival of others in the same way that it does in a pack of wolves or group of people. Similarly, the emotions triggered by finding the best food you ever had causes you to remember everything related to the experience more, because that could be useful for finding it again in other places. It is less useful for people today than it was for hunter/gatherers as it mostly relates to expenses, and the earnings needed and good experiences aren't happening at the same time.
Well, the person who said this, hadn't experienced Jesus yet. His love is freedom. And I pray you get to experience it too. Jesus loves you and he wants you to know him more.. ❤

Another banger, Mr Krauss. Excited to listen, thank you. Btw, perhaps David Deutsch would be a good guest

Please stop interrupting your guests. Let them speak. There's really no need for all the "yeah," "uhm" and random off the cuff interjections.
