- This was a strange one, taking our national airline, British Airways, from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil... This was a route we never knew existed until we tried to book flights and we are thankful it does because it saved us a fortune!

There is 100% demand for British Airways to operate each route individually, however with the current shortage of aircraft and British Airways preferring to prioritise routes to the US, these are the routes that get cut. In the summer, both Buenos Aires and Rio get a daily flight from BA showing that their is demand. In the winter, those frames go to Dubai and Cape Town so in the summer their is more wiggle room.

The Buenos Aires leg used to be via Sao Paulo though in my experience the majority of customers exited in Brazil and fewer went on to Argentina. Pre pandemic the route was very busy most days - I remember they were oversold in Club World by 40+ seats one evening.
