Would there be a different process in caring for leaf cutter bees?

Yes, they are not in waterproof casing so they ca not be washed!!! Leaf cutter bees need to be handled really carefully and their cleaning does not use water either. I think you may have to ask so bee people how to clean and care for them because I am not even sure they can live in the fridge over winter!!!

Typically, no. If you REALLY aggravated a female, she might. Males do not have stingers.
