- Hey yall! Thought I'd share a couple color grading options for this mountain side photoshoot! The only way I'll be able to keep up with these is if I do these raw unedited videos! So bare with me, I'm a working photography :( As you can see, there's a lot you can do with Capture One, let me know what else you would like to see or if you need help figuring anything out!

Perhaps the most useful tutorial on color grading I have ever seen. It takes so much time to develop a good taste (as opposed to bad taste). And since I never really do the stuff I go over the top from the start - spiraling out of control in counterbalancing and being a noob.
Great tip of using the skin-tone tool to homogenize i.e. the blues.
Most importantly I am seriously grateful for choosing a non-studio shot. So many of the tutorials are on vibrant studio shots where the artists pick just the reds on the dress (or whatever). To see how you widen the color "wedge" as opposed to isolate "that hue" was enlightening. And that last tweak on the back-ground to make your model fly into the third dimension at c. 26:15 was sensational. Thanks for giving me the feeling of learning something. So fun!

There are loads of tutorials on how to use capture one, but your explanation on why your making stylistic choices and what your trying to achieve through your process is so much more helpful and relatable... I think it's literally the first time I ever comment on a YT video. Just had to say huge thanks dude, that was an incredible tutorial right there. I've never used Capture One other than for tethering (will look into it), but beyond that, just superb information all around that can be applied to so many things editing-wise, in so many ways. Really grateful for this and whatever other content you find the time to create (I don't even find time to post on Instagram so I hear ya, working photographer and all). All the best and hell yeah I'd see more of you doing this. Cheers.

Those are some really sharp looking photos. I'm a newbie starting out, and I find myself having to use 'sharpness' just to make the faces look like they're in focus. Great video, btw.
Wow dude - I learned so much from this than even watching all of those webinars or whatever they are called (from the guy in Denmark who works for Capture One). You kind of pull it all together and show it so concisely. For somebody like me who is swapping over from LR and starting again, can you do a video Cam on the process you start with each image. I mean the steps - what you do first, then following and then next etc. I'm doing it kinda willy nilly but if I see a pro like you will give me more idea. Thanks Philip
Always really like your colors and nice to see them outside of the desert! I just got Capture One since it was on sale and haven’t used it really yet, so this was great way to see it in use. I will be rewatching this video a couple times I’m sure.
How do you like the 50mm? I don’t do much portraiture, but it looks like good results to me.

Beautiful result and some great tips here. Do you find capture one is a little soft at zoom level other than 100%? I notice you don't use soft proofing at all which somewhat gets around this problem

Hey bromigo, I just want to say you saved me from switching over to the G9 with this video. Almost made a finical mistake. You have a style that is really admirable to me. In the same light as the artist you look up to. If you put a link to B&H for the XT-3, I’ll definitely use it when I purchase mine. Also, what’s your leather company called? I could use a strap or 2. Hey,.not sure if you covered this through one of your vids, but was wondering what is your sauce for exporting photos for social media to make sure they look great after you upload them
. Things like resizing (to which ratio size), formats, sharpening, file size and all of that. There seems to be not that easy to find straightforward guidelines on this topic and it could be subjective to various factors.

Hi I’m a newbie to capture one pro, so apologize for maybe stupid question. But are all these adjustments only available if the photo was taken in RAW? Coz I’m playing with a jpg and it looks like even the lens adjustments you made at the beginning are grayed out....????
What camera did u use for the first edited photo
Can you use the Fuji simulation for different cameras if shot in raw?
J Taylor not sure actually 🤔 If yes, I’m assuming it wouldn’t look that great. The Fuji sensors are super unique, they use total different color patterns so the colors are super different
cool stuff. BTW, on the pic at 15:45 I see you shot it at F1. Which lens was that?
This was an older shoot, I think for that shot I used a Vivitar 135mm f2! $40 lens off amazon, gave me beautiful results on the Fuji. But could t use it on my professional gigs

..more like stumbling around then dancing around. I agree about a style, but I think you should look at the C1Pro tutorial and then work a stlyle
