Marakit Island Sandbar Crossing in Araceli, Palawan

Marakit Island is a small island encompassing roughly 0.3 square kilometers, with a coastline stretching approximately 2.6 kilometers. It sits idyllically about 500 meters from the mainland shore of Araceli. During low tide, a sandbar emerges, allowing visitors to cross the island on foot. During high tide, the island can be accesseb only by boat.
