It always shows authenticity to me when a historian actually has that passion in his voice and isn’t just all monotone while explaining the history of something. It shows that they care about history and it helps to get the people they’re informing pumped and interested in it as well.
And I agree with Neil, when you study a place extensively, you rarely get lost or confused in the place after so much time. I think there was some supernatural works at play there.
Neil is a gem, I feel like if I spent 10 min in his company my brain would grow by 20 sizes. He's so smart and even when he jokes he's a proper gentleman. What a character!

I have just made a comment about this and I went into a bit more detail about what it could be because its either an entity was watching him or it was a keeper of the grounds because when they started exploring Daz said something about someone staying downstairs but the figure doesn't look like someone who would be keeping the grounmds safe of the castle. It looks like someone wearing Nun clothes with the black head part and white chest part. However there is sort of a chapel in the castle if you look back at the video when he goes round with neil

Neil really is amazing. He’s obviously so passionate about history and seems like a genuinely lovely guy with a great sense of humour. It would be great if you did a whole night with him, would be really interesting to see if he could pick up on any hauntings as well and may even know more personal questions to ask the spirits as he may have more historical knowledge about them.

I absolutely adore Neil, he's a treasure. I've only been to Chillingham Castle once, as a kid. I'd really love to go back. It's a gorgeous place and I never got to look around the gardens last time.
The quality and cinematography of your videos just keep getting better and better. Idk much about camera work or angles and lighting, but you seem to. Keep up the awesome work😁
I remember when I was on the USS Yorktown (old aircraft carrier) in South Carolina, I remember feeling what felt like someone lay a hand on my shoulder... when there was no one behind me.
This is by far the only genuine piece of seeming evidence and I’m saying this as someone who stayed over at the castle for 2 nights with an ex and didn’t witness anything Even when watching it back on slowest speed I was expecting it to move WITH the camera rather than AWAY from the camera, as if it was some dust etc gathered on the lens appearing as something else, however the more I review it the more it does indeed appear to move AWAY from the lens and not indeed as part of it (Update) Now that I’m not focused on the movement of the ‘anomaly’ as such, I’ve just clicked that it’s merely in fact yet another reflection/ray of light; if you look just below it slightly to the right you’ll see the very pattern these same kind of lighting reflections etc portray onto camera, but evidently this case is very easy to misinterpret as an actual anomaly but in all honesty I am confident it isn’t one

Its not the dead you should be scared of, its the living. I find a lot of ghost hunting is through the power of suggestion...by that I mean peple will say "oh, you will hear this, see that, get cold/hot etc" so that seed has been planted and your brain then fills those in for you later
