Really cool and lots of hard work, I hope you didn’t use creosote poles 😂
I was wondering what the air would taste like on a hot summer day inside that
did you have any worry about the crap on the logs? i've read they can be hazardous.
Muito perfeito!!! Você tem a parte 2? Gostei muito do canal. Ronaldo, São Paulo/Brasil
Those of you saying that they're going to die from the creosote they don't put creosote on those. The next year they use to treat those is 98% water 2% copper aluminum and arsenic.
Exactly! My point is if you're going to spit facts at least get the facts correct.
more!!
Hi.
What do you think about the chemicals?
I have read that it can be dangerouth for health.
Okay, so I have around 20 telephone poles in my yard that I plan on using to build a shed and some other projects. But the Stihl dealer told me that telephone poles, because they are laminated, will dull a chain halfway through the cut. Of course he recommended the $90 carbide chain. Is this true? You seemed to cut through that pole pretty well.
I have a Stihl I bought halfway through the project that cuts these poles with no problems. Its an aggressive chain but not a 90$ carbide job by any means. I occasionally touch it up with a file but have not had to have it professionally sharpened yet. (Also it was used when I got it)
I do line work and yes you will buy more chains cutting Krisoak treated poles than regular treated wood. Excuse my spelling. 😁
Ant utility poles tapered how did you get around that
You just have to split the difference. The taper on these poles wasn't a major issue.
How the fuck did he rip that pole that straight? No way with a chainsaw!?!?!?! Has to be a band saw or something
You needed to fim this with the cam horizontally... (when will people ever learn?)
Hey, where is part 2???
I live in Iowa and right now everything is covered in snow. Can't wait to get back at it as soon as things thaw out!
Why don't you make longer videos, like your competitors?
Tim O'Neil I’m not really a professional TH-camr LOL. I just post these things for fun
those living will die from the creosol
I saw the thumbnail and thought who the **** would build a cancer cabin?
I was told these are toxic
That is true, creosote is considered a carcinogen. If you watch the video I talk about that, and that's why this cabin is just used as a shed for storage.
I have been dreaming about doing this for years. Thank you so much for posting these videos. Definitely earn my subscription.
