Great video! Thank you for sharing! I wonder if you can just spot weld the tube without soldering after. And one more that kind of flux do you use? Thank you!

Looks like this one is much more powerful than my 20+ yrs old RMO. With that machine I could never achieve the results shown in this video...

Yeah this machine is really powerful. Mine is 23 years old. I just used a new one and the results are even better

Hi Steve , first of all thank you for sharing your knowledge ... I have one question , is it necessary to have laser welder for printed metal or you can job done with Dentaurum assistent only . Tnx

Hi I would highly recommend either a pulse arc welder or laser welder for a stronger bond. I'll have some videos coming soon demonstrating the strength of both! Stay tuned

Thanks for the video! I’ve only been making retainers for years, but now getting into appliances. Would you recommend this over just using a butane torch? And have you done electro soldering on an RPE with good results? Thanks!

Yes I would recommend electro soldering because it's much harder to overheat a solder joint unlike a butane torch. Your electro solder joints are absolutely smooth as silk compared to even a decent torch weld

Wow! Thanks for the illustrative example! But it looks too complicated for me :) Will simple contact welding be not enough?

Not for sure. I used to always tack and then flow solder very carefully trying not to burn bracket or buccal tube. This method is actually really easy and comes out perfect
