@ChineseSweatShoppe The reason why a missile's ability to ignore the 3 velocity measurements is important is because generally speaking when flying a gun ship if your enemy's velocities are low so are yours and if his are high so are yours with only a small handfull of exceptions. Meanwhile, if using missiles your accuracy is compared directly to thier speed this allows you to manuver in ways to boost your own velocities while not harming your own accuracy in the process.

@MrAwsome514 they do not have tracking, but they do have explosion velocity and explosion radius, so that is comparable to turret tracking and FoF missiles are not guaranteed to alway works to expectations

@ChineseSweatShoppe Yeaq fof missiles have thier issues because they will only target the nearest enemy however at least they keep fireing. As for the accuracy issues there is less involved with missile accuracy than there is with turret tracking. Turrets have to deal with the target's angular, transversal, and radial velocity aswell as thier signature radius. Missiles instead only take into account thier speed and signature radius.

@FearlessFrome I dunno man I mean missiles do have one good advantage. There is nothing you can do that will stop them from fireing. They do not need cap so neuts will not shut them down. They are not turrets so tracking disruptors will not hinder them. You can switch to fof missiles to counter ECMs and remote sensor dampeners. Range is never much of an issue with them either as they often have long fireing ranges and do not have to worry about tracking like turrets do. Reliable if nothing else.
