Hajime no Ippo is an anime that follow Ippo- a young man bullied in highschool.
Ippo seems like a wimp at first glance but he discovers grit and guts when he meets Takamura- a Pro boxer that happened by when Ippo was being beaten up. Sort of taken under his wing Takamura helps coach Ippo to become a Pro.
