Will I used to work at Tesco ,the best way to be safe over night without getting a ticket is to say to customer service your van broke down they will enter your reg in the systems and then you’ll be covered 😊x

When I was living in England our local Tesco shopping centre in Whitely had a rule that you could park overnight from 6:00pm to 7:00am. But it was a massive carpark.
There's something about the interior of your van (colours and layout) that come across very calming on screen.

Just a cooking tip unless you like you onions and peppers soggy..marinate chicken in food bag 24hrs before..then cook chicken first remove or put to one side of pan..add peppers onions fry for about 5 minutes then you will have a lovely crunch to them.
Came for the fajitas and car park trolley pushers, was not disappointed William. 👍

To save yourself any more bus-related stressful moments if you find yourself driving through Reigate again, just know that buses that have come down Lesbourne Road will always turn right at that junction! 😉😁

when wok cooking/pan frying your best getting the raw meat in 1st ,then the vegetables as the meat takes longer to cook through👍
ITS not a wrap its more like a fajita burrito.. I'm Mexican American and love the fact the UK uses tortillas in its food palette. RESPECT brother/mate form California.
I have stealth camped for many years.. UK.. Europe.... And Beyond.... And still do... Plain white transit. Clean and tidy... No bulkhead! (dark curtains in its place. No Windows.....99% inconspicuous... No problems. Low roof for under barriers.. All I need and travel economically and comfortably and simply.. Love it.!!!! Oh my 2kw Honda inverter(gennie) fulfills my electricity requirements. (When in the middle of nowhere of course.)..Happy Vandays everybody.... Stay Safe... Douglas Vick....

Having lived in india for almost 2 decades, where the traffic and driving is beoynd insane! It makes me laugh when the most sedate UK driving and traffic conditions are desribed as chaos! lol. Always makes me smile when someone says it during the non eventful journey from the airport. No blasting horns and several meters space between cars driving in straight lines... nightmare!
Great vid will! Brought back memories of my taxi days. When i was doing the airport transfers tesco was my place of stay. Spent many hours between jobs sleeping there! Used to have a blow up bed across the back seats, little blanket and i would be out cold. In all the years i never recieved any tickets, and i was well over the 3 hours many many times 😂

Threatened flat tire, wonky table handle, but at least you had gas! I tell you your "'effin 'ells" when something goes wrong breaks me up every time. So conflicted between wanting to see more challenges; your reactions are the upsides for the viewers, but the downsides is more stressful challenges for you. So conflicted, so conflicted. lol Really enjoying the stealth camping episodes.
Hi Will. I can tell you from 10 years experience, the only time you pay a parking fine is if it's a Council car park. No private car park can impose a fine on you. The secret is NOT TO RESPOND to any letters. Act as if you don't exist, even when they threaten court and the bailiffs. I have a stack of these letters and threats even if they chase you for three years. Just ignore all demands. There is no law on this.
This is what I understand. Friends and family never paid one unless council.
Wish I knew about this 1 hour ago! I just paid a fine for not paying for simply dropping my wife off at Heathrow 😭
I do agree with what you've posted...although in some cases it's best not to ignore a letter. Just Google the parking company and you'll find heaps of info on forums etc....in most cases, just appeal and say you wasn't the driver, the ticket will get cancelled and you'll avoid alot of stress from follow ups or threats. 👍

Will Mate, back to your roots! So great to see you back to where you started in a Tesco lot. Your van is your home and like any home, it requires maintenance and repairs. A little hint since you don't have sliders for that table extension is wax it every now and then with a candle or some wax. And for the handle use double and maybe even triple the length of wood screw. I'm pretty sure your Tesco comment may be a slip up as Tesco's revenue for fiscal 2021 was $75.022B. Another quality video from yourself Will, loving the content. I have often thought (not sure if it’s possible) for that bench next to the sliding door to be on some kind of roller system to slide under the unit which the bed sits on top to allow for more space. 🤷🏻♂️😎

Hey Will.... great video as always... so your next mission should you accept it is to stealth camp in a waitrose car park in Petersfield.. i have seen lots of motorhomes/campers stay down the far end of the car park but time for yourself to give it a go...
Rub some candle wax on the table edges to make it smoother to get out Will - should do the trick 😉

ok right video at the right time. a year ago I returned to the UK with nothing, I got my lorry licence back and I have worked since April this year of 3 transport companies. they all suffer greatly with stress and they love to push it onto the drivers (me). to day I have an old van liveable a can I need to sell, and another old van I would like to finish building. um ok that's my world, tomorrow I'm kicking my boss/job in to touch. and looking for another job. in short. great video it was what i needed a fellow human going through the mill like me. chim up fella.

I use to work night shift many moons ago. They used to let truck drivers and motor homes park overnight for free, but it was NOT a 24 hr Tesco, and they had to be gone by 8am

Oh you need a registration plate cloaking screen so that the plate can be seen clearly from behind but not from the above cameras.
My mate and I got a parking ticket from Bristol city council for parking even though we paid via the app at the machine. Ticket rage and the ticket is in the bin. Nice video Will, great choice. 🤞 you don’t get a penalty invoice.
Was going to ask what he does about PCN. I just ignore them and never had a problem. Obviously a ticket from a council is a different matter.
@@raysmith6891 It is a ticket from the Council. My mate is ignoring it because we paid and have the receipt on the App & on the phone via text message. You can appeal but we don’t have the ticket number. Anyway it’s their problem if they can’t do their job, why should my mate go to the effort of appealing something he didn’t do?

Maybe it's a good idea to put a light tinted windows at the front so the blinds won't look so obvious you can get away with a light tint as long as it lets in 75% of light in I think do not quote me on it, it won't make the blinds stand out at the driver side and the passenger side windows.

First time watching you, I liked everything except that you could identify some light from your wind screen when you walked out, wished the shades were all black (thanks to the curtains) and I always liked another layer of separation I.E curtains between the driving space and the living/kitchen space. So I don’t see your bed you are filming yourself driving. For me, it’s just more cozy when you have that flexibility.

not sure where you got the £57 million per year figure lol... in 2020/2021 Tesco had an annual revenue of £53 billion. not being condescending, i just found £57 million a bizarre figure for a national store. Fantastic video though mate :)

I tried doing the same overnight camp in my Promaster at a Costco and didn't even make 2 hours before I was asked to leave....I used to leave my knives attached magnetically like yours but then I started thinking..."What if I get hit...are those knives going to come straight at my head?" Needless to say they are in a latched drawer now.

Will. Wood does almost certainly not expand in the cold weather. Although humidity is a big factor its highly unlikely it will expand in cold temperatures. However again.. the metal runners ur draw is on will also shrink therefore making it tighter/harder to pull out . 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻

The same in the Netherlands. Most drivers do not indicate direction. I have the idea that turn signals are an extra option in new cars that you have to pay extra money for.... And otherwise those drivers are %&%^&$(*^$ ..... (Better I don't) write......)

Hi mate. Try rubbing candle wax, paraffin or beeswax on the edges of both sides of the table,then push in and pull out the table numerous times to reach a point of ease opening and closing it.
