On Mount Olympus, in the peaceful sanctuary of the gods, created for descendants of Titans, among shining goddesses, nymphs, and other mythical creatures, Eris is a dark spot! She is an unpopular and rebellious teen goddess who unwillingly provokes discord, and has a horrible
reputation. Blasé and forced to study on Olympus, Eris stays away from the other gods.
But her cosmos suddenly turns upside down when a young mortal arrives on Mount Olympus: Paris of Troy!

@@reginasandoval628 Her stone effect? No, it works on everyone, not just men. The whole "it only works on men" is a modern gorl-power thing. In the original mythos, she was described as "A monster so hideous that anyone who laid eyes on her would turn to stone"
This series is DEFINITELY not mythically accurate, it's a Greek Myth version of Monster High.

While there are moments of awkward framing, long silences, and odd line deliveries, the actual look of the show is very polished. The limited budget and manpower may show, but the designs offer a decent smokescreen. Especially Hera. When it comes to designs, she clearly came out on top. They look marketing team approved, so very well done. Plus, all of this done by one artist? My wrist is cramping just thinking about it. That alone deserves some recognition. At the end of the day, who cares about a few awkward silences when one person animated a web series that looks this good? Plus, it's interesting to see how the source materials will be adapted for the story being told. That's what makes greek mythology reworkings so fascinating.
I know right! That's some talent, hardwork and dedication right there.

ikr. in the actual mythology he was like the one of the only gods with relatively functioning relationship and who didn’t cheat on his wife. he just mostly chills in the underworld with his wife and three headed dog thing, and usually tries to help people who ask for his help. the dude is literally like one of the nicest gods. i have no idea why people try to make him seem like the bad guy.

Only complaint I have is there’s a lot of awkward pauses and some of their facial expressions are hard to read. I think maybe a better sound design for future episodes would help along with taking some more time to emphasize the specific expressions you want to get across! Overall the story seems neat and for it to all be done by such a small team is very impressive!
Good criticisms but remember that there’s only one person (besides the voice actors) that are working on this project

Today is the five-year anniversary of the first episode of GodsSchool! And the 8th episode has just been published, "Hera and Zeus". It is amazing how this series has grown and evolved over time! I love GodsSchool so much, I hope than one day Netflix will discover it. It is simply perfect and addictive, I am a huge fan. 🤩😍

It's so interesting to see this played out in a highschool setting as like all of them are related and it's all very strange their relationships with each other because Kronos happens to be a lot of their dad and ate them all and Zeus is also a lot of their dad and it's just really different from what I'd think. It's really cool how Eris is the main character because as the goddess of discord she's usually an antagonist but this portrays her in a different way

As someone who is a fan of lore Olympus I thought I would absolutely love this and I did! This is amazing but as someone who started with lore Olympus first my reaction to Kronos is was absolutely historical it from being this big evil god trying to ruin the underworld to a chubby head master of a school😭🙏🏽

me being obsessed with Greek mythology since I was 8 and watching this :
I literally remember coming across this two years ago and being utterly obsessed
I see a lot of people complaining about innacuracy, but this is a project based souley on volounteers and some money.
We cant expect too much, its free and its quite entertaining to watch!^^
It's also extra harsh considering not a SINGLE Greek myth based movie or tv show I know of or have seen is actually accurate to the actual myths. They ALL take liberties and do what they want. That's the point of art! To take something old and make something new out of it. I hate that people are complaining about it just to complain.
The only negatives I could even say about this is it has awkward pauses/silences in between dialog and some of the recording quality isn't great or level, but that is easily fixed!
