Foils are definitely hit or miss, and a lot of cheaper foils tend to be the hardest to transfer. I've got a love/hate relationship with foils, but you did amazing, hun!
Hey love! 💕 I totally agree, they are a hit or miss. But once they transfer it's the best feeling in the world! 🥰 But I can see how someone could love them 1 min and hate them the next. LOL. 😂 Tfw
My pleasure love! 💕 I highly recommend giving foils a try. I've been having a lot of fun with them and they are such a fun and easy way to get some cool nail art. Glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hey Roze! Yeah, I don’t do the alcohol step and I cure for 1 min. Then I have a whole system to work out the wrinkles. I definitely learned just like you that need to do one nail at a time too! Love this tutorial that included trial and error, it’s a great concept! TFS and can’t wait to see part 2! 💕🤗
Hey Carrie! 💕 Yes the 1 minute cure time was a game changer. I also feel that the alcohol step was not necessary although I would like to try it with that stubborn foil that didn't want to transfer. LOL. 😅 I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you enjoy part 2. Thanks for watching! 🥰 Oh, I almost forgot to ask, what is your system to work out the wrinkles? Inquiring minds would like to know! 😃

Thank you so much love! 💕 I've been having a lot of fun with foils lately. So quick and easy for some fun nail art! 😊 Your love and support is priceless! 🥰
I may need too try the Makartt brand, because I have some from IGel transfer foil glie and either im doing it wrong or it's some bad foil glue. So, again thx for doing this vid, maybe I can learn something new!!
I really like this foil glue a lot. I’ve also heard good things about the iGel Foil glue as well so I would say to play around and test out the new stuff you learned first to see if you can get it to work. I plan to do that with my Beetles foil glue because I think I was using it wrong as well. 😅 The 1 min cure and 30 sec cool down worked wonders. I’m so glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hey love! 💕 That's interesting because I would think that the tacky layer from the foil gel would help the foils to transfer better. But I'm glad you found a method that works for you. Thanks for watching! 🥰
@@RozeBeauty318 Watched a vid by a lady called Paula Ponce. She said that the tacky layer did not improve the performance of the gel. Tried it after many tries at altering the curing time and to my surprise had a 100% success.
Great review and tips😊 I have this same makartt foil set, but I need your organization system for my foils! do you have a link for those organizers? they look like tic tac containers.

I wonder if the wattage of the lamp has an affect? I also would love to see you try the holographic bird and swipe it with alcohol? I have heard that does make a difference with difficult foils? I always swipe with alcohol though because I saw the recommendation too.😂
Hey love! 💕 That's a great question and suggestion. When I finished filming I had that same thought to wipe the transparent one with alcohol, so I'll be testing that soon and will let you know how it works.
