Psalm 88 depicts hopelessness, but then 89 starts with exclamations and acknowledgements of God's plan. I believe that is intentional. To sit in hopelessness but then move on and get back on that horse of being a person of faith. Faith is a gift from God.
So love this. The title is perfect. I was reading this psalms 89 (just landed on that scripture) after praying (crying out) for help and mercy on my son. I needed to hear this message once again. It’s confirmation of his faithfulness. Please join me in prayer as I press on on behalf of my son. Amen and thank you ❤
Thank you for this explanation I was searching for this but no one could explain to me what happens after this defeat or misfortune.. I would like to know then what happens to David? This is like an untold chapter in the book of Kings. As per book of kings & chronicles David always won! He was always a winner. Chronicles even boasts of David's victories his military power. Where does this psalm fit in?
