‘And I don’t want the world to see me, I don’t think that they’d understand’ fits Crowley’s perspective so well because on one hand he wants to be a stone cold demon and on the other he wants to show aziraphale how much he means to him.
I remembered the existence of this song and came to TH-cam specifically to see if anyone had made an Aziraphale/Crowley fanvid for it yet, and I was not disappointed. Huzzah! This hit the spot.
I was thinking recently, why was Crowley so devastated when Aziraphale got discorporated? He knows how that works, probably had was discorporated once or twice also, and in they book I’m pretty sure they discorporated each other just to be annoying (it’s been a while since I’ve read it). Then I realized, he didn’t think it was normal earth fire. He thought it was hellfire. He thought the other angels got to his angel before he did, and *burned him.* He thought they killed him and let his bookshop burn alongside him. He thought Aziraphale got his death sentence before him. And he blamed himself NOT TO MENTION the last words he had said to Aziraphale were “and when I’m off in the stars, I won’t even think about you” bRUH
oh we ARE back in the 2010s, this is marvelous. i was really hoping SOMEONE had come up with this because i remembered being subjected to the sportarobbie one back in the day. if your ship doesn't have an "iris" amv, is it really a ship?
the holy trinity of AMV songs back when i was a teenager was Iris, The Reason by Hoobastank and Wherever you will go by The Calling (honorable mentions Far Away by Nickelback, Your Call by Secondhand Serenade and What hurts the most by Rascal Flatts)
Song was perfect. edits were perfect. Pulled me in right from the start with the colorizing around Crowley as he realized how wonderful Aziraphale is at the garden.
It always cracks me up when Aziraphele shouts "I gave it away" slightly whiny. Love this video, the series and especially this ship! The book could have more of the two in them but series made up for it with all the sweet shippy scenes. cenes!

I came back to this one after a round-about on assorted crack vids and other related vids as I was looking for a bit of inspiration, and I am MORTIFIED that I liked this and neglected to comment on how absolutely stunning it is "...badly done fan video" indeed, this is the perfect song for them and your subtlety adding more color here and there as well as gradually over the course of this is pure genius! I have a slight feels attack now, and I am more than okay with it; major kudos to you on how gorgeous this turned out.
