We need more power given to the average citizen to take a stand and courts that will truly pass huge penalties against corporations, including prison for participants. The awards need to go directly to the people harmed. East Palestine is a perfect example. Heads should have rolled, and that community should have been awarded millions. There are certainly things I disagree with that have been presented, but overall I find myself in agreement with your positions. An example of such disagreement is that of citizenship and immigration. You briefly referenced it here (and if memory serves me correctly have talked about it prior), but I am not against dual citizenship. I won't go into the nuances of my stance regarding dual citizenship, but to a certain degree I am in favor of it for the average natural born citizen or newly naturalized citizen. I also disagree regarding previous sentiments (perhaps you no longer hold them, but as far as I am currently aware you do or at least did) pertaining to the exercise of certain rights (voting specifically). I am not in favor of mandating that natural born citizens must pass a test in order to become eligible to vote (a test mind you that in reality would ultimately be "arbitrary" and subject to the influence if not outright control of whoever happens to be in power at a particular time). At this moment I can't remember what else you may have proposed regarding that, so I'll leave it at that. To be clear, I don't bring up my disagreements to create division, but to expand the conversation and hopefully address my concerns or to prompt positive and beneficial change in your political policy & philosophy. Because again, at a more general level, I find myself in more agreement with you and those things you've stated. Frankly I would love to have a (better yet multiple) sit-down conversation(s) delving into these things and more. Though tbh, I don't think you read the comments here on yt, or at least I've never seen an indication that you do. Hopefully the overlords will let this comment slide...

It depends more about the numbers within each group in order to form a consensus about the direction of the party, it also helps to avoid such drastic pendulum swings when you bled off enough people by pursuing a very narrow and niche set of policies usually driven by the fringes of the party forcing the left and every individual and ideological group that peeled off as the party was driven more and more towards the cliff to coalesce to stop you, which is basically what the Republicans are doing now to the Democrats, so many contemporary liberals, classical liberals, moderates, libertarians, minarchists, and paleoconservatives/populists have joined with the tradcons and the contemporary conservatives and the first group to get cut was the neocons.

If we're actually debating policies, that already makes us different from the left. I have some faith the Trump voters will be able to make compromises with each other when necessary. Great sentiment. While i definitely do not want kamala to win, i want trump to be hehe accountable by his own voters. Hes done well to explain the failures in personnel from the first term and has built an impressive faction around him this time, but there should always be pressure on public servants by their constituents to do as the people desire.

I believe in limiting terms, no politicians shall be able to be invested in tradings that they become filthy wealthy and shall be subject to an internal audit similar to internal affairs, will be held responsible to those they serve and not hold power over them to control, laws passed that favor one side or other shall not occur, and so on...

There are certainly things I disagree with that have been presented, but overall I find myself in agreement with your positions. An example of such disagreement is that of citizenship and immigration.
You briefly referenced it here (and if memory serves me correctly have talked about it prior), but I am not against dual citizenship. I won't go into the nuances of my stance regarding dual citizenship, but to a certain degree I am in favor of it for the average natural born citizen or newly naturalized citizen. I also disagree regarding previous sentiments (perhaps you no longer hold them, but as far as I am currently aware you do or at least did) pertaining to the exercise of certain rights (voting specifically).
I am not in favor of mandating that natural born citizens must pass a test in order to become eligible to vote (a test mind you that in reality would ultimately be "arbitrary" and subject to the influence if not outright control of whoever happens to be in power at a particular time). At this moment I can't remember what else you may have proposed regarding that, so I'll leave it at that.
To be clear, I don't bring up my disagreements to create division, but to expand the conversation and hopefully address my concerns or to prompt positive and beneficial change in your political policy & philosophy. Because again, at a more general level, I find myself in more agreement with you and those things you've stated. Frankly I would love to have a (better yet multiple) sit-down conversation(s) delving into these things and more. Though tbh, I don't think you read the comments here on yt, or at least I've never seen an indication that you do.
