I adore this juice… it did smell scary for me when first wearing it to work - DEFINITELY not wearable past 3 sprays max if you’re commuting - but when you see compliments pouring in 7-8 HOURS after application and while sweating at work, then you know what magic is… the way gualtieri makes this thing bloom with (clean) sweat and body heat, garners some of the most forward, unsolicited compliments I’ve ever received… and I’m saying this having been an Aventus signature afficionado for years before realising safe isn’t exciting…. Your overall description is the first and only one on the internet that is EXACTLY like my experience with it. Imho bergamask is much more challenging than every other orto parisi aside maybe from cuoium or terroni..
You will really enjoyed them especially if you are okay with challenging perfumes. My favorite from this house is Bergamask for warm weather, and Sterkus for cold weather. I just want to take this opportunity to appreciate your work, among many perfumes reviewers, you are the one that I really trust and enjoy watching. I just have a suggestion: if you can add a very short introduction about the house, perfumer and the story behind each perfume that you are reviewing, it will be very interesting especially for those who consider the perfume as a masterpiece, not just a combination of oils and chemicals. Hi, I don't understand why my Bergamask lasts a maximum of 35 minutes, an hour. Same thing with the one from the perfumery, same batch 01245. It's not a fake, it's 100% original. Online I found several users who complain about the same batch and not only that but also about others. Is something like this possible? But in these cases shouldn't that batch be recalled? Because it's the Orto Parisi and Nasomatto that has the least performance among all the ones I own. In this circumstance what should I do. Thanks
I was lucky enough to buy this today. Can’t wait to receive it. Same nuclear stuff happens with Perfecto Fino. You can use it in a BBQ and people still can smell you.
this is my most complimented fragrance. just recently a girl ran after me to ask about my scent. and in sweaty clubs this stuff projects like nothing else. one women asked if i smell so strong (with 2 sprays and 6+ hours after application and dancing/sweating). she said it smells good but next time i should apply less haha.
Just got another bottle (legit)and it smells weaker than my last bottle?Has it been reformulated?Needs to macerate? I’m upset because it’s my favorite cologne and the new bottle is undoubtedly not nuclear.
i have bergamask and megamare. i have worn bergamask a couple times and its already my biggest compliment getter. so i can assume if i start wearing megamare it will be even better lol?
Great review as always. I purchased Megamare first and then this one. I LOVE them both in the heat. BUT I can’t explain exactly what makes me love it so. I know that it blooms on my skin in the heat and that I can always count on it to perform/longevity in the heat. I know that I find the slightly “sweaty” accord super sexy. I guess that I receive compliments BUT I just LOVE this one for me. Your review may have helped me to better understand my attraction to this gem. PS- There is only one fragrance in my collection for which I have a back-up bottle (4o Knots) but I imaging that I will get a back-up bottle for Bergamask as well.
I don't get it. I don't think this is all that challenging for people in the fragrance community. For me the appeal is easy to understand especially compared to many others in the Orto Parisi line. I also don't get nuclear performance on my skin. I love what this is trying to do - a deeper citrus but also being quite linear and simple. I don't wear it for other people or for "what it does".

I have those three you mentioned. Brutus is like putting Bergamask and Nasomatto Pardon together with some Virine or Terroni earthiness.

Is it macerated well, is it good now after oxidation? How is the performance?

It's a 10 from me. Megamare is the only fragrance that gets me more compliments and that's also Orto parissi.

Megamare middle is tough! It’s this fine balance I get of liking but also nausea. Its wild.
