I love the part at 48:36, showing God's sovereignty. I wrote it out and shared on Facebook.

Waww, what an amazing discovery, pastor, that Joseph was a tool in God’s hand, to bring affliction to his brothers to make them recall their deeds and make them to repent. ❣️
Your deep insight is very helpful to dig in to Word of God❣️May God bless your ministry❣️

Thank you for your teachings. I'm learning a lot from you. I find it interesting that the brothers were imprisoned for 3 days just as it took 3 days before Christ rose from the dead.

It is so interesting that the brothers said “we are honest men”.
    They had to prove it!.

16:07 "I wonder if the brothers repeated the lie so often that they started to believe it." Best part. Or at least the most memorable.

I imagine while the brothers were in prison together that Simeon had some stories for them. For instance, the length he was there after they went home.

There is also a lesson on God's favour on Jacob's life. Imagine at a time of famine, getting free food, not spending a dime and being taken care of in many other ways and for free. I believe this was because of God's blessing in Jacob's life

    Question Pastor David,
Will you be talking about the incarnation in January?
Like you said every leading character we study in the Bible typifies Jesus Christ
If we did not have the birth of Jesus Christ
    Why study a Joseph

It’s my own opinion, but I think the Bible teaches us “as we always reap what we sow,” and this is the first time we see Simeon suffering and paying for his deeds. Apparently he always got away with it, because beyond what happened to Joseph, Simeon was the head of the massacre in Siquem and his evil with the bulls!
