Dommage qu'il y ait autant d'erreurs par rapport au vrai Kata Annan. C'est pour ça que seulement 7 instructeurs ont été autorisés à enseigner le Ryuhei-ryu depuis 1971...

Aggression seems to be the way of Kata today, Ryu's own Sensei Sakumoto had a much more sharp flowing Kata without all that wasted tension.

NintendoGamer789 they are both correct, OSU is used in most Japanese martial arts and some modern styles of karate like kyokushin. OSU it’s also used as a greeting in Japan, if you watch DBZ (Japanese version) in the ending of each episode the first thing goku says is Osu!! Ya goku then he explains what happens in the next episode

Man, the speed is so focused on in these katas its lowering the practical use of alot of the strikes. Speed is also power, but the strikes must focus more on the power for it to do real damage to the opponent. I always so a kata is not complete without the use of power witch is necessary for the strikes to b useful. With all do respect, it takes more than a loud shout to take the opponent out with a strick. Power must also b used & true power has both speed & power
curious - how do you focus on power without the speed as surely the ability to contract a muscle at speed illustrates power

Have you ever had a kid punch with speed & power... then tell them to do it again but with a Passionate battle cry. The Qi/Chi power is totally 💯 different.

İ watched him doing it i thought it looked really hard but its easier than it seems (definetly not easy but just a little easier than it seems) its still really hard but when i complete it it just got better and better evventually
It's easy to learn it the difficult part comes when you have to go to a competition between people that also do the same "easy" kata but instead of just learn it they actually have trained that kata for a long time, it's like every sport, is easy to learn the basics of gymnastics the difficult part comes when you have to be better than other people and also maintain the level

Loco 34 I agree, if you watch this guy's Sensei back in the 90's you will see a much superior Kata performance. Sensei Tsuguo Sakumoto of Ryuei Ryu Karate.
