yk I was thinking to myself the other day I haven't done a rambling talking video where I actually have a "convo" with you and say what's on my mind so I think that may be why my descriptions have changed. I include a lot more of whatever i'm thinking for the day in here whereas before I would just talk in my videos. I still plan on doing those switching between proper asmr videos to the lofi cozy causal type ones but yeah I was thinking about that.
This week was again pretty rough for me but a little better, as some of you may know I am a newly signed model and everything's going well but I am slowly learning to not take everything to heart and handling rejection. It's part of the job to be rejected from "brands" or "job options" but this week was rough and I felt it actually get to my mental lol it was a brand/job I really wanted but it came down to the fact that I didn't have enough expierence for them which is hard for me to cope(?) with as it was something out of my control, so I had to just take it to the "chest" as they say. there was nothing I could do differently but it still sucks and is a crappy feeling. I was this close! and in the end wasn't taken- which is fine I am grateful nonetheless for the opportunity at all and I know this is a very privileged and blessed "issue" to have but it did really bum me out 😅
anyways that's my spiel for this week, if you have any tips on handling rejection or I guess "not caring" too much or taking it personally that would be helpful! :)

Rejection truly hurts and there’s no easy way of coping with it at least you know in your situation it was out of your control. You put your best foot forward and got unlucky. My friends all say "everything happens for a reason and you'll know why soon enough, maybe it's because something betters coming" but right now I can't help but question that 🫠frustrating fs
@@sunjosThe saying “everything happens for a reason” is quite cliche but it holds value and truth! I was in a similar position recently with an internship opportunity, went through all the interviews and the motions just to get told they went with another candidate shit broke me, but luckily I kept trying and ended up getting an internship in a better company imo which was Riot! :)

@@sunjossometimes, we have goals and we picture a place or a thing as the perfect fulfilment of it, but in reality it might be far from the idea in our head. And sometimes, even, the goals themselves change over time. I personally have felt disappointed, obsessing over things I thought would make my life absolutely great but after few years had passed I started to see more clearly that the reason it seemed so good was bcs i pictured the fantasy not the reality of it. So I understand you. I really hope better things come your way real soon, but at the same time I want to remind you that "better" thing might be a completely different kind or direction in life :)
This has got to be one of the most genuine communities on social media, great videos, real transparency and interaction between everyone and its just awesome

My advice to you when it comes to rejection, whether be it from a job application or anything else, is not to take it personally, realize that it's not your fault, it's not something wrong with you, it's just how it is, we all have to hear the "no" and it sucks, but we must not let it get to us, we just move on and see it as a learning experience which allows us to grow.

Rejection can hit us hard and i know how it feels, but you seem to have the right mindset when dealing with it. Finding the positive in any bad situation really helps us to grow and move on and i admire how self aware you are to realise this.

Years I ago one of my students funded herself through university by modeling. She was a serene beauty but not very tall - initially she had a lot of rejections based on height. Then someone asked her to do hand modeling (rings & bracelets) and she had more work offers than she could handle. Not what she was expecting! Finding a niche seems a bit random to me. Don't give up though! You are very pleasing to the eye and ear. I could watch you talk for hours, if it wasn't for the fact that I just fall asleep.

If you would like to use this in a future asmr video, when u do the “pluck” since ur fingers are so close to the camera u could layer a sound of u lightly scratching the mic uncovered or with a cover. I feel like it would give so many tingles! Js an idea if u would use it I feel like it would be great! Keep up the good work❤❤❤

Hey there! Went straight to the description before the video, so I wanted to share what I learnt
Rejection is a tough subject, but it's part of life and the best thing one can do is learn from the experience: first of all, despite your relatively short experience you still came so close! Which is nothing to scoff at, it's a sign of great promise amd talent! Second of all, that door is not closed forever! They say you need more experience? Go out there, and then one day you'll be able to get back to this brand and show them how much you've grown in the meantime!
It may sound hollow, I know, but I hope that the more time passes by the more you'll see the truth of these words!

I’m not sure on what to say but my advise is don’t be too hard on yourself. At the end you did gain experience off it at least right? Usually like on a sports team not everyone can make the roster spot since there’s a limit of certain amount of players. You maybe want a third party perspective to see where your going wrong. But then again it’s experience. It probably came down to experience I believe. Cause your really nice to look at. I’m not sure why a brand would reject you. Also I love your ASMR videos keep it up👋.
