As a German - we learn a lot about Hitler and Nazi Germany in school and honestly, Hitler legit didn't even have aura. He had a weird way of talking, he was short af, had this crazy look in his eyes and it's said that when not on stage he didn't even talk and just sat quietly in a corner.
This happens a lot in this video, aura gets confused with what people are remembered as and what they stand for. Hitler is the 'mascot' for Nazi Germany which started WW2 leading to millions of deaths so nowadays he is kinda 'respected' for it (as a villain).
Aura is something completely different. To radiate aura you need to be charismatic, you need to be able to easily persuade others to follow you even without actually giving reasonable arguments, you need to have this leader vibe, the (and I hate this word but it kinda fits here) alpha vibe.
Back to Hitler - he really didn't have that at all. Goebbels on the other hand was a fantastic speaker who was able to make Jews (!!!) applaud hysterically after giving his "do you want the total war?" speech. Himmler was a tank of a man that demanded respect just from his size. Both of the Nazis I've just named had much more aura and charisma than Hitler, he just happened to be Nazi mascot which is why he's given 'respect' nowadays. After learning a lot about him and untangling facts from myth I now see him kind of like a sad worm, a sad kid that was unlucky enough to find others that shared his opinions.

Why do you think all these elites in politics and business alike as well as the uneducated peasants looked at him as if he was to be the new leader of Germany almost immediately? Times were crazy after WWI and he capitalized on that using mainly his personality and what is that but aura?
Himmler never served in the war (he was mocked for this by the other leaders including Hitler) and was another example of a sad kid who was lucky enough to get into power. He had zero aura compared to Hitler, Goering, or Goebbels-pretty much just power.
Goering (who tested 138 on an I.Q. test given to him by the allied victors after the war during the Nuremberg trials) thought highly of Hitler's intelligence and that alone says a lot. It's clear then that Hitler's aloofness was part of his aura if anything because he seemed to be perpetually brooding on the next steps to be taken and on "higher matters" which would come bubbling up in his speeches.
He didn't talk weird either, that was just how he talked in his speeches (which worked for the time, clearly). He had a pretty deep voice actually according to a surviving recording of his speaking voice on TH-cam, it's just he chose not to talk normally in his speeches because it didn't tap into the German rage and anxiety at the time that he reproduced in his wild ranting.
He was evil but his aura speaks for itself-he caught onto the zeitgeist and made it his own-that is the definition of aura.

That is aura, being able to make people not only just link your name to something but feel a way about it is one way to have aura.
