- Using these last days of summer to explore new streams in the higher elevations of the North Georgia Mountains. Caught a short break in the summer heat for a few days coupled with some rain and took advantage of the cooler water temps.

thanks for the video man. got to watch it this morning drinking my coffee before church
Thanks so much for checking it out! Can’t wait for some cooler weather and some Fall adventures
Great video mate
Thanks so much!
What pack are you using? I like that setup.
It is a Fishpond pack and I believe it is called the firehole. I have absolutely loved the pack and use it often for day trips where I need to carry extra gear such as food, rain gear, filming equipment, etc. I pair it with a fishpond canyon creek chest pack and it has become my favorite setup for the kind of fishing I do. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
@@ColbertOutdoors We fish the same waters so I spend a lot of time hiking into spots avoiding people in north GA. So having that larger pack would accommodate all the extra unnecessary stuff I bring along. I have a smaller combo like that but immediately after I switched I noticed back fatigue halfway through a day. I usually spend at least 12 hours out on a trip when I get a full day so I’m always looking for more comfortable options. Your videos just started showing up so I’ve been catching up. Thanks for the quick response
Enjoy your videos. thanks for making them. I noticed that you were wearing some gaiters while wading the creek(s). May I ask what are their name & where can i get them? I been shopping for some . do they do a good job of keeping your feet dry?
Thanks so much for the kind words. I think if you search online for “neoprene wading socks with gravel guards” you should find multiple options from Simms, orvis, Patagonia, etc. I have a pair from orvis and love them. They’re not so much for keeping your feet dry as they are keeping the gravel and sand out of your wading boots which I find super helpful. They also help your wading boots fit the same when you’re not wearing full waders which is a plus. Hope this helps!
Got it. Thanks.
