Man i think you got the wrong idea (and don't get me wrong i'm an arabian so we and the americans are far from being on good terms due to the political situation between us , so don't think i'm taking their side ), i guess you have this view on amirecans maybe because of tourists since they have more open body language and higher tone and japanese people in general in comparisson are more introvert and more polite , maybe you didn't realize that but this group of friends who is doing the reaction the way they speaks and the words they uses and their body lanugage are impolite more like goons and thugs and rappers (i don't know why but maybe they live in a neighborhood has alot of gangs) , in a way it is like the way bikers and yakuza speaks in japan , so the way this group talks are different than the normal people in america talks which maybe gave you the wrong impression , plus there are other western and american channels who is doing reactions and got a better understanding of ussop feelings in this scene , for example there are reactors who are more logical and they into revealing the mysteries (and this type usually does a great job in scenes like blackbeard and how he got his power in marienford and things like that ) there are the emotional type (alot of them are females , and they does a great reactions in sad scenes) , there are the type who is emotinally intelligent and probably would understand ussop's feelings in this scene (like a threapist i used to watch , he did a reaction on "yahari ore no seishun love comedy wa machigatteiru" , and his reactions are one hour per episode , and his analyze and understanding of charactars are far surprassed me even when i watched this anime more than 6 times , and he watched the anime movie "shape of voice" and his reaction was about 8,5 hours 😂 ) also there are of course different factors , for example fisher tiger the one reactors who i felt did the best reaction on him and understood his greatness was someone who has deep realstic understanding of racism (maybe because of personal experience) As for ussop : he had an abandon issues due to his parents (his father left , and his mother when she died no one came etc...) , also because of the ship is a gift from kaya , and because he is the one who had being fixing it the most , also the ships has somekinda of "soul" in their world , also because he is weakest in the crew and he is comparing himself to the monster trio (luffy, zoro , sanji) , plus the money got stolen from him so it was instead of just a bad thing happend to him it was rather something made the idea he had in his head and tried to ignore it way more into something that cannot be ignored , which is that he is useless (in his head only , but in reality he did great things) and especially for a man (and ussop despite being a scared most of times but when he has to step up he has a heart of a warrior , so he is not just a man but rather an honorable man) the feeling of being useless is improbable , plus he was inflecting his own insecurities on the ship , and ussop wasn't the only one , luffy also had his own insecurities in this moment (one is his battles with crocodile which was unlike the previous villains luffy didn't had his victory without losing , two is aokiji fight and how he had a total defeat and wasn't able to protect his crew , three is his fights with foxy and how close he was to losing members of his crew , four is how iceberg questioned his "captining" when luffy said he can't abandon the ship ) so luffy could handeld the situtaion better But being a piarte or a yakuza isn't like some school club where you can just quit when things doesn't go in your way , for example a yakuza who wants to quit offers his pinky alongside money to the family's boss and and politely asks him to quit , and similar things goes on pirates and in any thugs gang in the world (for example look how jimbe asked big mom to quit) , of course the strawhats aren't as brutal in these things as most piartes but still the way ussop left even being understandably emotinal but the way he left is so wrong

この戦いに関して色々意見が出るのは仕方ないけど、海賊の決闘は生死をかけた戦いだから、仲間だろうと親友だろうと下手に情けをかけるのは相手に対しての侮辱になる。だからウソップもルフィも全力だったし、この関係にけじめをつけると言う意味も込められてたんだと思う。尾田っちならきっとそうすると思う。
