I thankyou so much for your kindness sharing all the knowledge on bancruptcy matters. You're a niche attorney in your area of business. Appreciate you🙏
What if one worked overtime alot to stay afloat with all this inflation but that OT is not always available in the future? Also, what if one is tax exempt, how would that effect one's case?
Howdy! Great informational vids! My question to you is: If I had my 341 meeting and 3 weeks later, I receive a job offer that pays $20,000 more a year than what I'm currently making, am I still obligated to let my attorney know? Inquiring minds want to know :)
I love this! "Their is no way in Haidies" LOL. Thank You for your great advice! I appreciate it. The idea for me is to increase my income to pay off house, but highly doubt if I'll get a number that high.
if your in bankruptcy for a little over three years and inherit about twenty thousand is this money going to be taken from bankruptcy or are you allowed to keep it. and do you report it or not
In Georgia, currently in Chapter 13. If we receive an inheritance can we request to keep enough funds to pay for dental work? Also, we gave up one vehicle but have a need for an additional one. Could I request the portion of funds from the inheritance to pay for the dental work and enough to buy a second vehicle? Thanks

Yes. Legally, any income changes before discharge are supposed to be reported.
“Google Law” and “Google Medicine” have more alumni than any other grad school in the world. 😂. Thanks for the helpful advice.

Yes. Those are both very good reasons to request to retain funds in a chapter 13 case.

@@bankruptcygeorgia Awesome! Thanks for the response!
Do need to do the bankruptcy counseling before I file? I read on a post that you need to do it 6 months before you file.
Before you can file you need to do a pre-filing credit counseling course and that certificate is valid for 6 months.
I live in Savannah and I’m looking into bankruptcy. Do you work with ppl from this area
I do not practice in the Southern District of Georgia however I could recommend calling the state bar and asking for a few referrals.
