I profess the Gospel of Jesus and his love for all persons regardless of divisions in class, race, gender, and accept the stranger and feed the hungry. For Christ said render to Cessar what is Ceasar and God what is God..... politics should not be part of religion and theocracy is not God's way.
Here's what I've come to believe is a fact. Christian music has gotten so diluted that it's just feel good pop music. I don't see songs that are like the old hymns that imo have real meaning and value.
There are some new hymn writers that have written some deeply meaningful music. Two examples are Matt Papa and the Gettys. There's a lot of fluffy pop music, but the tradition of hymns is alive and well.
And ... I don't hear you singing the hymnals by my side on Sunday morning 10:30 A.M. That would sure be sweet. What's keeping you? ❤🎉 You are invited. Show up. I didn’t know it was Swedish. We used to sing it in church choir years ago, in the U.S.

The difference is that these guys are highly respectful to the original versions each & every time & there's as much depth of feeling there....
Exactly, simple tunes with simple words, not spiritual truths rooted in His Word! Truth must be celebrated in a good hymn!
