- Slow with a gun after being injured by a land-grabbing outlaw gang, Army veteran John Agar remains determined to reclaim his ranch. , and his neighbors', from the badmen. He finds that he is proficient with bow and arrow and is soon matching the badmen arrow for bullet in the battle to give the land back to its rightful owners.

The Jefferson Bible is very interesting and not very well known. This is a bible written by Thomas Jefferson. Copies of it were given to each new incoming member of both houses of congress until the early 1950 's when supplies became exhausted. Please research this for a very interesting and informative experience.
Unexpected plot compared to the usual. Good movie.
I always enjoy watching anything that John Agar is in.
The bartender is the best character in the entire film.

Classic film world class acting
Not bad. John Agar was in Fort Apache, one of the great Cavalry trilogy of John Ford, who gave him a hard time. As he was newly wed to Shirley Temple who was also in the film, Ford would keep calling him ’Mr Temple’. It was a tough environment, with people like John Wayne, Ford, Ward Bond and Victor McClaglen. At least he survived.
I would have started calling Ford "Mr. Chevy or Mr. Pontiac or something.
@@snyderemarx1638 The Duke was scared of John Ford. I dont't think you would have called him anything but sir if you wanted your to keep your job. That was a rough old man from what Iv'e heard. Greatest western director of all time and He knew it didn't take any thing from any of his actors. and They were all glad to be working for Him.

Agar was going to quit because of the abuse from Ford, but Duke took him aside and advised him on improving his stance and presenting his lines better. In the same movie, Ford brought Henry Fonda to tears. Even after all the abuse, they agreed that Ford improved their acting ability.

Nothing wrong with that, yet its unusual. Is there canteens attached to saddle somewhere.
FollyWood often sends its cowboys out on 500+ mile rides without canteen, saddlebags, bed-roll or rations.
I guess they're all extreme combat survivalist living off the land. 😂
Wayne Morris ... what a guy ... had a promising Hollywood career before the war, was a decorated pilot, and after the war spent most of his time chasing women and the bottle. Another sad Hollywood ending.
Yes, Wayne Morris was a highly decorated pilot in WWll. In 1959 while visiting an aircraft carrier, he had a heart attack and died before they could get him to a hospital.
Not quite. He was a leading man before joining he army, but when he came back there was already a new crop of young Hollywood stars like Van Johnson etc. Morris just wasn't in demand
@@pavkis9249 One of the reasons he wasn't in demand after the war was his personal habits often prevented a good performance. Watch him in anything post '46, with few exceptions he's walking thu the job. Probably suffered from PTSD.

Not a bad B western.. bit far fetched.. bad guy land grabber is a well used story.. as usual the ending is cut off.. 😏

The commercial against Congressman, Kean Jr is paid for by whom? The other party in control of the senate, and the nursing home/White House is terrified! Our congressman is doing nothing that they allege! Scare tactics and division is what those people are putting out! Our congressman needs to come out forcefully and rebut the allegations. In the future, just refer them to your rebuttal! Don’t waste time or money going into It time, and again!

KimMorgan... - You're absolutely right!! If you look at the credits, you'll note the screenplay was written by two participating actors, & two more actors appearing in this produced &/or directed this - rarely a winning formula (Rocky & Good Will Hunting are the exception)!!
