I'm 17 and I relate so much to it , my hairs are really good silky smooth and really long, upto my thighs and my mom don't let me cut my hairs not even an inch, and my relatives also tell me to never cut them coz they're pretty or I'll do fashion an all. I keep telling them to cut not all but upto my waist coz I can't handle them I'm just so done, but they still say hairs are important, they are unique and all now I just can't , I've even told them that if you think I want to do fashion then I'm ready to go bald but they just give me a lecture everytime , I really relate with her, I've faced many problems due to these hairs but no one ever saw that. I'll surely go bald someday.

I used to have long hair too but after getting diagnosed with depression, severe anxiety, OCD, BPD, bdd it was really very hard for me to even get out of my bed let alone taking care of my hair that's why I shaved my head at October, 2022...and trust me being a girl it takes lots of courage for this..the first day I couldn't sleep at night but somehow I felt very refreshing maybe because our hair tends to hold a lot of our bad memories, pain, sufferings...people are like you don't look good, you look like a boy, why did you cut your hair it's so ugly..I can't even look at the mirror there are days when I don't feel feminine I feel ugly...but now I'm really trying to accept myself with my short hair I'm learning to stop caring about what people think because they don't know what I've gone through and going through...so always remember you ain't alone... Don't feel ashamed because you did this for yourself and remember many people don't have the courage but you have.... sending you love and peace you got this 💕

I never thought someone was struggling like me. My hair was very beautiful, long and heavy in my childhood till middle school. I had Bob cut when I was in class 8 by myself and had to listen a lot.
Nobody would listen to me and scold if I asked them if I could cut my heavy hair which always gave me headache and neck pain. After getting into college I fought with my mom and said I don't want to impress a boy or style as a girl sacrificing everything just to by keeping and maintaining the hair. And had short pixie and it's been 2 years now with the same hairstyle. Every after 3 months my mom takes me to salon to have my hair done now. Nobody from my family now complains and speak any ill about me.
To the girls out tthere reading this comment just do everything you want to, don't give a damn about anyone unless you're walking in the right path.

It's basically hairscalp that pains it can be cured by the soft massage, better washing and oiling and not tying them all the time, let it open and free tielessly . ❤️
Basically for eg as a normal human body cannot breath and feel suffocated in totally packed room same goes for our dense thicker hairscalp that area too need proper flow of fresh air or oxygen passing away .

Hair does play a huge role when it comes to issues like cervical and migrain. I am myself going through migrain issues and I had to get rid of my hair, I wasn't ready to do so because hair is like an huge part of a human body to look good especially if you are a girl. I have never had long hair since childhood, I always wished to grow my hair but couldn't. I wish I could help you with this Aparna, but be positive and be patient, when every bad time has passed than you will get through this as well. This shall pass too!♥

I'm a girl with very thin curly hair... And people with my hair type are so underrepresented, I lost all my confidence in wearing my hair down... It has become my biggest insecurity... Even I cut my hair this short in November as it was burden while studying and my mom was with me when I was getting my hair cut… When everyone saw it their first reaction was ‘itne chote kyu katwaye?’ And used to ask my mum ‘aapne kuch bola nai, itne chhote baal krwa diye. Mai toh nai krne deti apni beti ko ’. Arey bhai kya fark pdta hai with long or short hair, insaan takleef se marr jaye par baal na kataye. The good thing was that my parents were fine with whatever I do.
