- I was stalling so hard on this video, and each day was additing more stuff that I wanted to mention and share.
The fun part about the build is 3 and up to 4 uniques equipped and no spell suppression. thx ggg for good defensive options &)

About guide pob, I included some pshycotic items I'm well aware, mostly to show what to aim for and how build scales. And if you can do some more pshycotic optimization without losing defence, that would be awesome to see. I do recognise that my knoledge of the game is quite limited.

Everyone has forgotten about this but it's the best and most fun build I've played.

do you think we should use karui chopper now instead of void axe since divergent pulverise isn't a thing anymore
I have recomended Void Axe, only once here in the comments to other guy.
You are refering to the build that Ben was playing(I think), and that build is decently different because of warcry cdr tattos, and you wanted a faster axe there and even a despot in some situations.
My build never refered to Void Axe or divirgent pulverise since I never had that gem.
Just don't do that, ok.
@@loinex_ yeah from what i understood you said void axe if i had enough cdr, i was about to flip my warcry jewels for more cdr. i started looking at bens version but didn't realize he had tattoos, sorry for confusion. if i link my pob could you give it a glance over and point me in the right direction
Hello, a question about the life masteries, I see that you allocated all 6 of them to gain 10% more maximum life, this would be worth it if the 15% more maximum life would work as well, but it doesn't because Fourth Vow has regen which is a life modifiers. Am I misunderstanding something?
Nvm, I misunderstood the difference between "more" and "increased"
its for tenacity anoint on amulet, look up transfiguration of body, basically increases and reductions to life also apply to physical damage, which means the life node masterys = dmg

yeah its a bummer that 15% inc life mastery does not increase our life since fouth vow, has life mod. but its still worth picking for the 10% more like it gives a lot of life.
But they both don't give any damage as other guy said in comment, 15% inc doesn't work since you have life mod, and 10% more doesn't work since Tenacity only interructs with increases and reductions.
Masteries are only for the life total, which I value since I don't have suppress.

Hi, first of all tyvm for your great work on this video and the pob. I want to play this build on afliction league and i have a couple of doubts. With the quality change the gem lost aoe and gets new fissure, this helps to overlap or we have to get some aoe now? This build uses a lot of buttons, do you used to change between blood and sand stance or you only use one of them?
Aoe doesn't affect overlaps. Spike explosion gets bigger and so does fissure length. Same with less aoe.
You are getting aoe just for your own clear.

@@bilb2299 I haven't played much last league(pretty much just did quest boses on RV Berserker), and don't want to talk my ass off with new ideas and pobs.
That's kinda what I'm thinking:
+1 spike good you will notice it near walls, so Maven, Maven invitations, Atziri you get a lot of damage.
Hiest base "Impact Force Propagator" 2 handed mace got buffed, and its better then axes if you are using 4 warcry set up.
"Defiance of Destiny" is now a global drop and it is giga good for this build in defence I don't think you can die in a map if you equip it.
I would probably always run Herald of Purity for Rallying Cry so you have second warcry that boosts your damage.
Yep, thats about it, still need to play and see, before beliving in anything that I say.

@@jasonmoss-qk8oh both banner and blood and sand, you can remove enduring cry, and click Inexorable on tree (with shaper hat you will get endurance charges similar to bonezone)
With the quality change to the skill gem will be even better for affliction
I’m doing this build with a few changes in boots and gloves but no 4th vow yet, as I boosted more dps doing maps and delve but now I’ve got a quick question since I managed to farm my first Atrizis favour, flat damage wise, boneshatter, ground slam or Earthshatter deals more damage overall ?

Em boneshatter and earthshatter are completely different builds. So i know that ground slam will be the lowest of them all.
@@loinex_ they can be easily swapped depending of mapping/bosses or delve.

You don't, but mageblood can make dreams come true. Still not worth tbh, then you gotta solve shock avoid too and so on.

I don't wanna update, since I haven't played much last league and I played RV, and I don't wanna just do something low quality and dumb, I just have ideas and wanna play.
I do actually wanna play this build in 3.23, the changes I'm looking and planning around is hiest base mace for +2(now its +1 changed to +2) to exerts "Impact Force Propagator" and running herald of purity for 4th warcry Rallying Cry.

Hello, I wanted to say I really like your guide and I'm using it right now in the Affliction league in SSFHC. Really fun playstyle and clearly being tanky on Berserker is mandatory and your build just do that perfectly.
I was wondering if it was possible to add you in game to ask you questions directly if the need arises about how you transition your build etc... And I don't think you stream on any platform so :/

I got bored of league starting Boneshatter Slayer and some DoT builds, so this'll be my next thing for the Private League in Affliction. Great guide!
Is it possible to use any other slam skill maybe like earthquake?
It will work but worse, earthquake is slow, and doesn't have spike overlap damage, so it has only 375% damage effectiveness, when ES is at 480% with only 2 spike overlaps.
If you have a very slow axe, and you wanna try more randged play stile Sunder is great option. You can combine it with Hydrosphere, and Sunder will deal damage twice resulting in 325%*2=650% damage effectiveness. But only once in a second since hydrosphere has cooldown of 1 second. But its a funny build, where you can make boss chunk up too 15mil per attack.

I put all skills that don't have cd on secondary bar, and rebind it into single buttons without modifiers. imgur.com/a/BWkflPZ i don't need to see leap slam, it has no cd, and I just press a button from memory)
also rebound left click main skill, and I don't need to see that too.

This is the build I’m running, but I’ve done a mistake I was using boneshatter instead of Earthshatter will swap and get a bit more tanky too for late game.
Can I keep my full resist Astral Plate instead of 4th vow? I don’t believe I have enough chaos resist to use it yet tho.

yes, of course you can keep Astral Plate in early game, that was one of my advices, build uses a lot of uniques, and until you get t1-t2 res everywhere its hard to fit everything in.
- But, do not equip xibaqua if you don't have capped chaos res.
- Equipping Fourth Vow without chaos res is decent, it helps surviving chaos hits like from essences or "It That Fled" but it doesn't do much, I did it last league, I just put it on when I finished capaing, made mapping safer against chaos damage, but tankines comes from the Fourth Vow - Xibaqua combo. And most likely before that you would be better with a nice rare chest with a lot of life. Just like the one in the video.
- You can equip Xibaqua, without Fourth Vow, it wouldn't do much against normal hits, but it works great against penetration like shaper balls, allows you to have high max res even if moster has pen.
also shattering bones is weaker then shattering Earth.

So I better keep hunting some jewels now and better axe.

Awesome build. Working on something similar. Have an update to this build now? What would you change with a mageblood / ashes?
I wouldn't use ashes, you don't really benefit from it, since I'm not using many alt qual gems, not the main skill has in built flat damage like bonezhatter or splitting steel.
With mageblood you have infinte amount of options on how to improve this build tho, but if you are not confident enough just copy Ben_ th-cam.com/video/cIrWi9M6FOs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=svxIyvQStZ9isBT4 really good player, and does really good builds. Also using new neck Defiance of Destiny.
What do you think about transfigured version of Earthshatter
both do less damage, then regular one, change to qual on regual results in more overlaps.
Nowarcry is a good meme, if you want to not press warcries, but thats kinda the main idea behind this build, plus they give a lot of damage.
The one spike one, again just less damage then 3 spike overlaps from regular one. But you get more ranged targeted playstyle. And if you want that, I'd rather play hydrosphere + sunder build.

@callmesea6937 for pure damage gotta be +1 impale, reservation will help a lot. For Defence its jugg transcendence thing.

Edit: honestly no idea, how shared cd will work, if you can't use all warcries to empower its gg
may i suggest corrupting cry linked with your warcries, makes them all cost life, alleviating the pressure for eleron crafts and adding damage slots in those 3 suffixes
I just use life tap right now. The damage will be meaningless since I have 0 phys dot scaling.
But sure you can do that. Just from my experi of playing second wind brings so much damage and burst, so I want to use it as soon as possible.

You should be able to spend all exerts in between warcry cooldown. If you don't have a lot of cdr yet. Go for slowest Karui Chopper. When you get more and more cdr go with faster. Karui - Chopper -> Vaal Axe -> Void Axe I think.

Weak in the wrong hands.
But thh very few people play melee not because melee is weak number wise. But because ranged playstile and some of the spells are just superior mechanicaly. And it will not get changed until poe2 I think.
@@loinex_ Ye, I think that you are right, but still... I would like GGG to look into the totem buffs and maybe shift that power to sth that feels better to play with, the "linger effect" was a welcome change but it still doesnt feel great to babysit totems as a non-totem build imo
@agtihz well build will always have modifiers, dd needs to cast arcanist brand, trap build use bear trap, or poison with withering step. Melee uses totems right now as the most powerful source from conditional modifiers, you will just defacto to the next best thing.

i might leaguestart this, if i find mental capacity to craft phys weapon once again after ~1.5k hours of boneshatter ssf (i actually uninstalled the game in early crucible after i didnt get phys prefix twice in a row on metamoded axe xdd)

As I said make sure to spend all intimidating cry exerts, 2 others just slam on cd.

@jasonmoss-qk8oh intimidating cry exerts next 3 attacks, and you want to do those 3 attacks before you use intimidating cry again.
All other warcries are for the helmet and to explode spikes,you can use them on cd.
Also each attack creates 5 spikes,max is 15 spikes so you want to use any warcry to explode them. Or your spikes will be wasted.

Spanw totems, warcries to exert your attacks(you also will get rage and warbringer) , berserk, attack a couple times , warcy to explode spikes, and repeat.
Make sure to use all your exerts on intimidating cry, do not refresh to early.
I'd love to play this build but I know I wouldn't like having to press so many keys to do optimal damage. Great video and notes with your PoB, nice work.
Love melee builds glad this got some nice buffs definitely playing this in the next league but wanna play ssf

doing this in a private league right no where no magic and no rare items drop xD its hard but really fun!!! Very rewarding build
I played it in ruthless with gold, its decent since you can get a lot of damage from warcries, so losing support gems doesn't hit as hard.
@@loinex_ what is the rotation roughly on this build? drop totem, earthshatter, warcries? or warcries then earth shatter?
warcries all the time, just try to spend all exerts from them and to not refresh exerts, you can use enduring cry on cooldown tbh, or just to heal or maintain charges.

No, it doesn't work well with Xibaqua - Fourth Vow.
Well, technically it works. But it does so little, it's not worth it.
