Hello Maddie! I have a whole zoo of favourites today, haha. The donkey cowrie, snakehead cowries, zebra volute, and little bear cowrie. Special mention to the operculum and sea urchin.

G'day Oceanluvn Gal 👋🏻🌊💖 Hehe, sometimes it feels like I find enough shell families to open a zoo 😂 I think you liked a bit of everything this time 🤩 that cowries are lovely, and the stripes/tip on the Zebra Volute is just lovely. Thanks for giving a mention to the Operculum and urchin; they are awesome little find, with that urchin being so rare here 😲 thanks for watching 🥰

G'day Riptar 👋🏻🐚 Aww thank you so much for saying so, it's lovely to hear how relaxing the shelling adventures make you feel 😁 I always wonder if I'm too 'exciting' to be able to relax with, but I'm glad you feel this way. The great thing about going to the beach and finding seashells is that there isn't any stress, just good times ❤️ Thank you so much for watching 🥰

    Good morning, Maddie
It sounds like you had a great day. The periwinkle, music cone, land snails, bird cardita, dove shells are too cute, crown cone, the cowries, and the white limpits are lovely. Seeing the feathered star fish does look like a spider. It is always nice to see the the live critters and shells. The zebra volute was very nice, the piping shells love the color. You know I really like mini sand dollars/sea urchins. I still can't pick a favorite. You did have a shell I don't remember it's name but it was one I had never heard before. You always put the beautiful displays. Thank you for another wonderful shelling adventure. It is always the favorite part of my day. Have a wonderful day Maddie.
See you next video. I hope you are doing well.

G'day Toni! It was a really lovely day; it was like finding a zoo worth of shells with all of the different shell families and species. A bit like a zoo with the live creatures too, that feather starfish was really cool in a creepy way? But back to the shells: those common Pipi shells seem to be really popular... I have always overlooked them, but I should try to collect them more often if so many people like them. I'll always collect the Zebra Volutes with their tips, they are too nice! Hmm, I found a shell you hadn't heard of before? Not sure which one that is, but I'm glad that I could surprise you with something. Aww Toni, thank you so much for your lovely words, and for joining me on anther big adventure. Take care until next time

G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 It's been nice to see an increase in Little Bear Cowries lately; I'm not the only one that's found a few here lately (or ones from that shell genus 😲). Oh, the little urchin was the favourite 🤩 it is a cutie, and so unusual to see here at this beach 🏖️ the limpets are much more usual to see here, but I'm glad you like them all the same 😁 Thanks for watching 🥰

Some different Limpits and a nice variety of Cowries. The small Wentletrap was great as well, but the Nerites were the standout today with the different markings. It’s hard to find two the same that’s why I like them. Thanks once again for sharing your shelling trip .

Hey 👋🏼 Maddie! Lots of minis and one of my favorites is the Variable Stromb. At first I thought it was a Little Bear Conch 😊 7:49 My first Thousand Spot Cone!! So many new finds lately.. 👍 What an ADORABLE little Zebra Volute 😍 Pretty perfect looking to me! 13:39 The little Bear Cowry is another STUNNER 🤩 Another fun beach hunt and how I wish I could be there!! G'day Mimi 👋🏻💖 So many minis in this one 🤩 it's really interesting about the Little Bear Conch and Variable Strombus: they look incredibly similar, but if the aperture is black it's a Little Bear Conch. This one is pink, so it's a Variable Strom 🤔 other than that, it's really quite difficult to tell them apart. Oh it's your first Thousand Spot Cone 😲 now that you mention it, I can't really remember the last time I found one?? It's been a long while since I showed on in a video! It's almost unfair that we need to identify our favorites...maybe I could more easily tell you what I don't like, but there wouldn't be anything on that list. I don't know if I find many new shells anymore, but I definitely come across some odd shells. My goodness, you are incredible with those names 🤩 well done!! I don't mean to disregard all of your comments on the shells, but I think I'd be here all night talking to you about the shells if I go indepth 😂 Conus miliaris is indeed not frequent here, but not as rare as many of the other cones, such as Conus Catus or Conus Rattus. I think it might be more frequent at other beaches 🤔 but I always prefer to go to this one. Huh, Conus fulgetrum is really similar to miliaris...but the images on Google show fulgetrum with more chevron-shaped patterns. Miliaris is always dots and lines like a Conus coronatus, they don't really have arrow or chevron shapes in them. That's just my thoughts anyway! Weekends and generally busy (at home, though less busy at Hervey Bay) unless it's earlier in the morning. Still, even going to the beach in the middle of the day on a week day, you will still see shellers out there having a day off, long lunch break, or are retired, etc. It's a popular place and a popular activity 🏖️ and it's great to see some of the regulars out there; there is plenty of the beach to look at for everyone.
