2K just needs to bring back simulation football without an NFL licensing. And not have it be as limited as All pro 2K 8 was. Just make the better football game
@@CorruptOutcast I don't know about all that. But I know they've made the better football game prior. To the point EA got so scared they made moves to shut them down. We need and deserve that better game. Even without the NFL license
@@Ultramentsh I absolutely agree that we deserve and need better games industry wide, but Visual Concepts has proven their incompetency as devs far too frequently for them to be seen as the cure to this issue unfortunately.
This game definitely has potential, especially for a free game. It has some rather odd quirks I'd like to see addressed, but given what we've seen from EA over the past nearly 20 years, I'll take the promise of this game over the disappointment I've had since 2005 with Madden any day of the week.
Theyve made so many fixes and adjustments over the first couple patches, that I have good faith that we'll get a nice game upon full release (assuming they keep that pace of progress)
@@auxxfps Exactly. I had my doubts when this game was originally launched, but they've impressed me with the improvements made so far. I'm excited to see where this goes from here.
I have been in good faith following this game and playing the alpha release. I refer to it as that, because this game was FAR from being even a base of a football game. There were too many missing things. Since then, they have released a patch and two updates that have added quite a bit of new features and attempted to fix some of the issues of the game. Play action passes are now in the game, and I believe they either put screens in the game, or that will be in the next release due in a few months. They responded to feedback that you didn't gain enough XP in their MUT mode and actually increased the XP gain. Coach Mode will be put into the game in the next update. They have added some new offensive plays and defensive shifts. They are still doing some things I wish they weren't, because what I want them to do is to have a fully ready to go solid basis of football first game, before they go all in with MUT and bells and whistles. The bottom line about what matters about a football game, is the football. You have that down, everything else on top is gravy. I really want them to succeed, but I don't feel like it is worth paying $40 for this game as it is. I will HAPPILY pay that once they actually have a complete game ready for release.
My biggest immersion breaker is how poor the defense plays as far as tackling in space, ball carriers rumbling through multiple tacklers too often. Any play can be taken to the house even if by rights it should be a tackle for a loss. The momentum system breaks down when a linebacker has the running back behind the line of scrimmage before he's even properly moving, but the dude breaks tackles like a man among children. I likenthe way the offense works in general, but the defense is so far behind it takes the wind out of my sails. I'm done until the next update at least and I paid $19.99.
I like it so far. A little rough here and there but if you aren’t going into it looking for a madden clone I doubt you’ll be too dissatisfied. I don’t like the token system though.
The Devs respond to actual feedback and fix the issues unlike Madden, It looks weird and jerky now, but I guarantee it will look better in the next few months.

They would be great. That's a Kickstarter I would definitely support
This is probably the best scenario but sadly unlikely
You have enough faith in 2K of all companies to focus on making a good game and not trying to fleece you out of all your money? Come on now lol

Less cut scenes during the game would be nice

Im gonna say no cuz they claim they are making a game for the community but excluded consoles until recently, but PS5 is 100% excluded until launch.
That has everything to do with Sony and it's certification process not because they WANT to exclude PS5
@
I have never heard Maximum say that
@@kirkford2596 that wouldn't make sense to intentionally exclude PS5 as an indie dev company
@
True. But I have yet to hear why Maximum excluded PS5 from Maximum themselves
