Unexpected Sickness

Hello Friends!
Thursday started off pretty well. JJ had an awesome day at school, and he had just one more day to finish off the week. Everything was fine when he arrived home and was happy and loving.
Later in the evening, JJ didn't want to eat anything.
Our boy likes to eat and when he turns down food, there is something wrong.
He let us know that he wanted to lay down.
We let him rest in our bed until it was time for his shower. He had no fever, but he was a bit more sluggish than usual.
Friday morning, he woke up with a fever. We got him dressed and let him lay in bed and took his temperature again and it was nearly 102 degrees.
Shelly contacted transportation and ACCEL to let them know that JJ will not be going to school. Transportation told us that a few of their drivers are out sick today as well. Yikes!
Shelly called the doctor and he said as long as JJ is in good spirits to let him rest, but if he starts feeling bad or has trouble breathing, we are to take him to the doctor. The doctor will be in the office on Saturday and Sunday if we need to take him.
Ever though JJ isn't feeling well, he is in good spirits.
He has a fever, fatigued and diarrhea so we are making sure that he gets plenty to drink.
Unfortunately, he would not let us give him a covid test, so we pray he has something that he can recover from quickly.
Friday evening, he finally had something to eat and that was good news.
Please pray that JJ gets well very soon so that he can enjoy some of his weekend.
