Just finished watching this! I came across Elizabeth: Golden Age (It was freaking Beautiful!) then I came across Elizabeth. They use the same actress in both movies.
Good review Estelle! I love seeing your reactions to these different movie clips. I agree with you that the historical accuracy in Elizabeth 1998 isn't as good as it could've been. As much as I love Cate Blanchett as Elizabeth I, she becomes stronger as the film goes on, the inaccuracies in it drive me crazy. Same with Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Both the Elizabeth films are beautiful to look at visually with great acting, music, and cinematography but the scripts have so many problems. Dr. Joanne Paul did a wonderful review of both the Elizabeth movies about a month ago as well. Have you seen this: th-cam.com/video/u3GaWeux-zE/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for another great reaction video🥰
Ahh! I'm so glad you did this...shameful, I know, but I've not seen it. Hearing your review..well, now I feel like I've got to 🎉😊
