Yes once children are adults they are the ones making their own decisions. BUT, the adults as children are influenced by the environment in which they were reared/raised! I personally know of different preacher kids that became wild as teens then adults. In each of the households the preacher wasn't living the true Christian life he was preaching in the pulpit. I also know of a sincere God-fearing preacher who is raising his teen children to live according to Holy Bible & his children's behavior & lives reflects a Christ-centered life.

I don’t know.. their son is gay and their daughter had lots of issues growing up.. which she openly talked about in her sermons and books. I feel like something had to have happened in the household or with close family.. God judges not just our outside appearances, but He judges the heart. While these channels are creating black lynch mobs, God is not pleased. Nothing in the bible justifies the behavior of some of these sites. Some blacks have a history of the "crab mentality". It causes blacks to pull each other down whenever there is progress. We don't have all the facts, yet the black mob is ready to hang him high.

I feel like something had to have happened in the household or with close family.. As a man of the cloth I had to make sacrifices and not even go to family functions where I knew there would be drinking,smoking,etc. Before I walked with the Lord I had a respect like many of you for those who say they are of the Lord and it’s sad how they don’t depart from evil as the scriptures tell us. Gene was respectful with his take on TD Jakes as well. We don’t know and gossip travels faster than truth. However, this is why there has to be standards and wisdom. I get it, we have to reach out to a dying world and all that but the Bible also tells us let not your good deeds be evil spoken of. There could be a sister that ask me if I could come over to pray at her house at 3 in the morning because she hears creepy sounds and she’s gonna hear me say here go some blessed oil or me and my wife is going to call you and walk through your house as we pray or we’ll stop by in the morning. We have to use wisdom. Just remember some of these points when you think your loved ones are acting “better than you” beloved. It’s not that. They love y’all. Some are just guarding their anointing and trying not to fall back into temptations they nearly escaped or still struggle with. Pray for this world yall….
