If your need is 200 km to and fro , you must go ahead with any EV car in market and your budget, If your single side journey is up to 300 km, you must see options to relocate to that location, choose EV which gives long range or get 7.5kw charger installed at your office or request your company to do so, or search nearby charging stations. No . Sound insulation is actually good. I took a drive in it. It's just shifting from engines to motor one only going to miss the vibration which you used to get in petrol and diesel cars. EVs are very quiet. But I personally liked the petrol and diesel ones though they are nut environment friendly.

I brought mid variant, such a nice car. Good looks , good range , good mileage with loads of features. Only thing I would advice that one should avoid top variant because of its sunroof which will bring lot more heat inside during summers. BTW it has great interiors . Currently within this budget there is no car with such spacious and high end interiors in the market.

No, dealers provide 10 m cable, if you need extra they will charge per metre , you will require MCB addtional to be purchased. Earthing to be provided. Check pre-requisites for installation for EV chargers.

There is no such heat inside cabin, there is insulation - 2 layers- provided, which does not let heat come in. It is not always open, its an option given in top model only. It helps more light inside the cabins when open completely. You may visit showroom and observe this feature , when sunroof is closed and vehicle is standing in Sun. EV car shall be selected very wisely, its upon company choice and its audience which is targeting. Currently they are targeting Metropolitan cities who can afford and where they can provide service too. For remote areas, you may find EV chargers available, so there is not issue investing more money just to considering very odd days. Say you travel 3-4 times a year. Its for regular office guys i.e. Business class, who are commuting in cities on daily and need comfort. 7.5 KW chargers is recommended for the one who travel frequently, else 3.3 KW is Ok to charge vehicle overnight. Anyone travelling more than 200-300kms for office, no car can be comfortable and you will need or must take a break atleast every 200 kms

If you drive in normal and eco+ it can give 2.5 to 2.6 kms per percent, so keeping aside 50 kms side, we get 200-210 kms in 85%, ok ok. But comfortable car, won't make u tired.

Tata EV 45 gives more then 300Km range easily. Have seen auto enthu going on hill station with this range then how come Curve is giving below 200. Windsor is a good car but on mileage front it's not a game changer as compared to Nexon or Curve. looks are subjective, but I find Nexon/Curve looks are more futuristic and better then Windor. On top of it the build quality. Buyers should have a test drive of both the cars within city drive to get an idea about the range.

I am not an MG Agent, dear. I am a proud owner of a Windsor EV. MG is lucky to have such a wonderful product in their product range, which adds value to their brand and helps boost sales. It's a more realistic car than any other, and every Indian should consider owning one. It's equipped with many useful features, and the concept design is excellent. If you drive this car, you won't be able to buy any other in its price range. It serves my purpose of daily commuting to the office and enjoying amazing time with family, and at the same time, it protects Mother Earth and promotes sustainability. If I ever have to buy another car, I will still choose an MG Windsor EV or something similar with other brands.
I can guarantee one thing about MG cars as I have been using hector since the first launch in India. Mileage depends on the way you drive, how you accelerate and brake. My Hector only gives 7-9 kms/L to my father, but when I drive it goes to 13kms/L while driving in the same speed. This logic applies to EV as well. MG cars are made to be driven calmly, they are not made or will be loved by the people who love to rev or harshly accelerate without understanding how your engine reacts.

Compare EV cars with Automatic version of ICE. Second in most state there is no road tax. So paracticaly from price point they are nearly same price. I think main problem is safety in EV and consistent performance of battery. Inherently battery are not safe as compared to ice.

Good product, albeit with TWO FLAWS: Good looks, spacious & taller. It ticks 90% of all expectations of Indians. Two problems: 1st problem is the smaller battery pack which can generate only a 230 km run. A larger battery pack (high range) is ESSENTIALLY required to CATER to long journey commuters. MG must RETHINK soon. Absence of provision of a long range battery will not be good for a family MPV. 2nd is No provision of spare wheel. When Tata Sierra & KIA Siros get launched, it will be retirement time for MG Windsor if they ignore larger battery pack. Let's see. The sooner MG provides a larger battery pack....the good for MG. Otherwise, it would be approaching the "retirement" stage i.e- Competition will eat up.
Yes , the one we cant even afford is always Garbage. We must return back to Maruti 800, strong build , clear view, no airbag, all ventilation, no ac, no EPS, no power brake etc. You must aspire bigger in your life and upgrade your standard of livings, when you buy anything new. Saying Garbage word to good vehicle is not justice, with wrong garbage mind. Do clean and flush it frequently.

Good product, albeit with TWO FLAWS:
Good looks, spacious & taller. It ticks 90% of all expectations of Indians. Two problems:
1st problem is the smaller battery pack which can generate only a 230 km run. A larger battery pack (high range) is ESSENTIALLY required to CATER to long journey commuters. MG must RETHINK soon. Absence of provision of a long range battery will not be good for a family MPV.
2nd is No provision of spare wheel.
When Tata Sierra & KIA Siros get launched, it will be retirement time for MG Windsor if they ignore larger battery pack. Let's see.
The sooner MG provides a larger battery pack....the good for MG. Otherwise, it would be approaching the "retirement" stage i.e- Competition will eat up.

I don’t get fit or was not comfortable in Tata Curve or any of Tata car-so I didn’t consider the option. But I didn’t said Curve is bad or waste of money. It is still relevant for 80% of customer.
Tata has have had monopoly in this segment of EV and has taken advantage of first mover, now competitors are entering, they should look also and bring some other good products which can bring advantage to improve sales.
