Beautiful send off, no government ministers, or aide-de camps, a celebration of her life, for her family and friends and the people of Ireland. She is the pride of Ireland. Rest in Power Vicky

I was fortunate enough to be there..what a beautiful send off. The Mountsion choir are so amazing..the rap in the middle of Stand By Me, not a dry eye, it blew everyone away. What a tribute to an amazing woman. Very sad the president didn’t show up..says it all really. Rest in peace Vicky..and thank you on behalf of all us women, you’re an inspiration 🙏🏼💜

I remember listening to one of Vicky’s first interviews a few years ago on ABC Radio here in Perth, Western Australia. Of course I never new her but reached out to let her know her story had travelled around the World that day. She responded with glee. Of course I have followed her journey since. It was always destined to end this way but rarely does humanity make me proud these days. Thank you for letting the universe in Vicky, you were one special chick. My love and strength to her Husband, Kids, Mum, Dad and wider family…. Sleep well x

    Wow
What an incredible strong, beautiful, courageous woman
    A young lady
    Just 48 years old
Leaving behind a husband and two young children
She fought so hard for justice ⚖️
    Justice was ✔️ done
Unfortunately this horrible loathsome disease cut her life short
Taken far, far too soon 😪
Rest in heavenly peace vicky 🙏
Fly high with the angels 😇

The most beautiful send off for the most wonderful lady, thank you all for sharing Vicky with us in her life and allowing us to share this celebration of her on her death . Will hold her in my heart for a long long time to come, forever grateful for what she has done for all of us women and for our daughters, nieces and granddaughters to come. May she rest in eternal peace now. And may all the happy memories you have with her bring you all comfort and peace as you try to come to terms with her loss. Such immense loss for which I am very sorry. None of you deserve this . Take care.

This should not be taking place in a church

What's your problem with it, it's a celebration of her life and it's what she wanted. She met that band on the late late show and she was actually a big fan of theirs. And that's how they were there, I'm glad she got the send off she wanted because of what she went through and standing up for the women of Ireland that were misdiagnosed . I'm sure GOD enjoyed it too.

@@verali164 the church is the house of God and should be treated with the utmost reverence . I’m not personally judging this sort of entertainment is happening nationally and globally. Really it’s grave negligence by the priest and the Catholic Church as a whole. “ it’s not fitting to applaude the servant in the masters house”

@@verali164 Do you think god enjoyed her promotion of abortion and her promotion euthanasia, or the fact that she denied christ as a non believer who publicly said wanted nothing to do with the church or priests, the priest spoke like the hypocrite that he is...

It was a memorial service and there are folk groups at mass every Sunday do you object to them, Vicky deserved that and much more considering what she went through . It was done very respectfully and at the end of the day that's what Vicky and her family wanted. I could go on but I won't , her suffering is over now and I hope she is at peace
