My 4 year old boy came up to me one day with a cup on his hand saying he had a gun arm. I immediately showed him Barret and he loves him lol. So yeah im excited to share this remake with him for sure.
@@kei7540 Frankly a 4 year old should probably be playing 'Untitled Goose Game' or something without sexual imagery but I'm not here to judge parenting styles. ; )
I am cautiously optimistic, I don’t expect it to be perfect. I’m just glad to be spending much more time with the characters I love, especially Aerith.
So this is a small want for ff7 but I would really like to see a system that allows you to sit down and eat food for some stat boots similar to final fantasy 15. With such a fleshed out game I want to have as much interaction with the party as possible. I know theres banter between them, but to have a moment when tension are low add a level of realism most games dont have with there cast.
I think it would definitely be really cool for character relationship building. One of Wedge’s descriptors is about food and taste testing at the 7th Heaven.
OG Fan here, I remember playing this game when I was 10yrs old. My first JRPG. I remember the look on my face during my 5th grade class pictures, it was a look of DEATH as I had stayed up till 5am everynight for like 2 weeks+ playing FFVII. Me, loading up my backpack with my PS1 and FFVII and packing my 13" colored TV a mile up the road to my firends house where we'd line up our TV's side by side and group play. Square Enix is doing right by me. I've already played the demo, and so has my protégé, my Son. He must learn that the ways of Shinra are evil and that when heros fight for what is good, hope that was once lost can be restored and the scales can be balanced once more.
"In a world where heroes fight for what is good, hope that was once lost can finally bėe restored. From the makers of Final Fantasy 7 and Dragon Quest. Final Fantasy 7 REMAKE, coming never to a theatre near you. Rated R."
I’ve been unmoved when it comes to “what to worry about?”, In the remake. My confidence in the awesomeness of this game had been set E3 2019. I can’t wait to see how satisfied and mind blown everyone will be vs what we all believe. That is just as important to me as it was to hear about the remake. I love this game and i know when i see children of the Advent. When the remake Drops, i cant wait to see all the true Advent Children!! 7️⃣
SUPERSIDESWIPER Nah I feel like they all could have great ending points, especially if it’s a trilogy. Part 2 of the remake can be from where part 1 left off to the incident in ancient city (end of disc 1 in og FF7. Even though personally I’d start game 2 off with the Nibelheim flashback just to spice things up. Then game 3 can pick up at where disc 2 of the og FF7 started and it could finish from there since disc 2 and 3 don’t have nearly as much content as disc 1
Orginial player here. I LOVE all the changes & updates. It’s allowing me to enjoy the game all over again. I got my 4 y/o excited for the remake as well! He loves Ifrit!
Troy Duhe it’s really awesome dude. I can’t help but get emotional sometimes when I see how excited he gets. He even makes me play the Aps demo whenever we’re in the car! 🤣😂
"Long ago, we looked upon a foreboding sky. The memory of the star that threatened all burns eternal in our hearts. In its wake came an age of silence. Yet with each fond remembrance, we knew: That someday, we would see them again. Perhaps it was no more than wishful thinking. But after the long calm, there are now beginnings of a stir. The reunion at hand may bring joy, it may bring fear. But let us embrace whatever it brings. For they are coming back. At last, the promise has been made."
This game warms me with every trailer and song I been hearing/ seeing. I'm gonna be so sad once the credits roll up knowing there's still gonna be another few years for another part but I'll probably keep replaying the game tbh. Oh well I'm so stoked still! Need it I also would flip if ff6 gets a remake! I could use that too
I cant spend my money on less than a third of the game... an ffvi remake would be unbelievable but it won't happen... Tetsuya didn't even include any of the ff6 characters in KH, as far as I know.
My concerns mostly revolve around saves transferring between games (especially with the next gen console around the corner), level caps per installments, and new game+ features and how they would work
Trust me, play the original first, you still have plenty of time to beat the game before the remake releases and the remake will come across much more special once once you do
@@flipskaterdave I`m not sure it`s a so good idea, the ones that have never played the original will have the chance to discover everything as a new game, they don`t need to compare or to spoil themselves.
I’d rather not play the original because I’m going to buy remake not the original and I’m not super big on turn based games I’m much more of an action gamer and I don’t want to compare the original to the remake
Amazing video, I appreciate what you are doing for the Final Fantasy community and thank you for always being an inspiration for my channel, also side note related, thank you for recommending SlayerSantiago to me, he finished my new Channel art and it looks amazing, see you on the next mission buddy
"Imagine the world map" I honestly struggle to imagine the world map, I genuinely believe we'll not be getting a world map at all and later games if they have multiple locations at all will just have a "Travel to" option or just have you go there as part of the story automatically.
@@Soldier1stClass Hope you're both right. I just have this voice in the back of my head that seems to want to prepare me for disappointment but given the love they seem to be giving the game it's probably foolish of me to think they'll drop the ball like that.
I don't see why they couldn't do the same world map style as the original. Just have it more detailed, with some seamless zoom in/zoom out transitions when entering/exiting a location. They could scale it up a bit, add more secrets and smaller locations but still keep it reasonable. I don't understand why everyone keeps thinking they won't do the original style of world map. I don't understand why Square dropped that format from FFX onwards, it was always one of my favorite parts of old FF games. Ff15's open world was great but at the end of the day, if it's an entire planet then you'll never represent that scale with a modern open world style map. So just have it a transition free series of large areas connected by a world map like the original game. It just makes sense.
I'm an original fan and this is my number one favorite game. At first I was worried that they would mess it up but from what I'm seeing I'm very impressed and love what they have done!
Okay I’m so glad they’re somewhat implementing the FF9 system. I always wanted to just use the buster sword throughout the original but the stats and slots were just too low
So, about Hojo and his hypothesis, when he says "I hope you don't disappoint" I'm almost certain he's not talking about Cloud. He's talking about Sephiroth and Jenova manifesting his image.
This new SOLDIER guy was created because they needed a final boss imo. We can all agree that red flame throwing random robot on wheels is not very climatic nor epic for the final boss of the game. It was good enough for final boss of Midgar in the original, but not here. Every time we see this guy he is on or with his motorcycle. This only makes more sense if you think of him as a final boss after escape from Midgar
When I read the interview from Kitase and Nomura who didn't want to just make a 1:1 remake of FF7. I already thought that there would be something new in the remake. New characters, new stuff to do and see, also something new in the story which maybe they can't do in the original or cut from it. So from there I also think that there must be a scene that will change too, like some scenes might be push back and some other scenes that we would see earlier in the game. About episodic releases, I'm not too bothered by that. I think It's better they do it like this than packing everything in one game but it becomes disaster in terms of production, story telling, gameplay and performance. I'll still buy and play it anyway to see it for myself. Fear is always be there but in the end it's fade away and always become excitement when I saw every new trailers and gameplay footage of FF7 Remake. Square Enix must know by now if they screw this up, they'll be in lots of trouble. Sorry if there are errors in the sentence, English is not my native language.
Brian Hatake it is quite alright, I understood every word my friend. I’m glad they’re making a project they can be proud of. They’ve always said if they were going to remake the game, that they’d build a game that could surpass the original. I’m not saying that will happen on an experience level for us, but I think it can be an amazing game that surpasses the original in many ways.
@@Soldier1stClass Thanks. That is what I like about them. They are not afraid to experiment something new, after all Final Fantasy is known as a game that is always innovating and push the console ability to its limit. But yeah, i think it will be amazing though from the stuff we've seen so far. This team is almost the dream team for Final Fantasy. My only hope is that Square will gives them the time they need to complete this project. And also slap Part 1 on the cover or Part 2 on the next part to avoid further confusion to new players. lol
I though FF6 was one of your favorite FFs. (It is for me) I agree with this video 100%! Last trailer legit made me tear up. We already have the OG FF7. I'm glad they're going the RE2make route.
Dude from my gaming experience as a child to a teenager to now at 28 years old there have been many games over the years that I have been excited for and played but there’s something about the ff7 remake that gives me that feeling of I cannot wait to play this game take in every little detail explore literally everything I can and experience a classic come to life everything I have seen so far has been amazing to me personally and I have no complaints to even express I feel I talk about this remake too much that people get sick of me talking about it ... but then I know there is more people excited just as much as me and I cannot wait to experience this game not just for myself but I can’t wait to watch everyone else’s let’s plays on this game even first timers! Let’s go!!!!
I've been an FF7 fan since 1997 as well, and I'm really hyped with the remake. I am also one of those who are happy that the remake is going to be split into parts. So, when the credits finally roll, I'll still have something to look forward to. So, it's going to be years and years of anticipating, speculating and new revelations. What a time to be an FF7 fan!
What a time indeed! I’m glad that people are remaining positive. Negativity really drags people down, and in this crazy world, we need to be more positive.
@@Soldier1stClass I really can't get my head around ppl who are picking at this game when SE are obviously doing so much to give us everything we wanted and more. I think it's an insult to the people who are really putting their heart and soul into the project.
I mean as long as they stay true to the characters and the feel of actual Spira, it would be at the very least good. I look at the Spira's world map and I see so many locations we never had a chance to look at, such as the entire eastern end of Spira not counting Omega Ruins. One problem I did have with X other than the lack of full exploration of the world, was how the locations we could go through didn't really match the world map at all. There is just so much more potential for Spira with modern technology that couldn't be done with the PS2.
@Soldier1stClass 10-2 had some of the most fun gameplay this series has seen in a long time... ntm the thematic shift made complete sense given the situation.... think about what a direct sequel to any of the other games (ff1-10) would be like....

I’m a old school fan who also played in 1997 and I agree on the new direction not being the old game carbon copy. I cannot wait to play the remake and see more of avalanche and the mentions of wutai history we may not have heard yet.
I don't understand how a true fan of the game doesn't want new stuff added?? Like I can't wait to meet brand new characters! New places! New bad guys, everything!
14 years ago around x-mas I thought about how amazing a ff7 remake would look like. Back in 2006 I wanted a remake. A ff7 with close to real life graphics. I kept thinking, imagine the summons and omnislash. I bought a ps4 just for this game. I pre-ordered the deluxe edition. I'll do the same with part 2 and so on. In the end I'll have all the deluxe version. It's a personal gift. I've never bought a deluxe game before.
Your open-ness to changes in the franchise and overall positivity while reporting new remake info is exactly why i started following your channel. Thank you for this and keep up the excellent work!
Good morning my guy!! I have no doubt about what to come.... This remake is going to be worth it... Like it was said last year at the square Enix event, we as fans will not be disappointed... I can't wait to play this game and it's a retelling that we haven't seen before.... We have a couple of months to go... Just hold tight.
@@Soldier1stClass not too worried. Graphics can be a tough beast,I know from experience; plus I only noticed that on my n'th rewatch of the new trailer. It'll turn out right. Everything new I see has so much passion put into it.
What I don't want to happen is the episodes significantly changing the mechanics of the game, making the past episodes obsolets or even not connecting one with another. I wanna to play all the episodes like a giant game as a whole. That's the most fear that I have.
I as well am an original fan. I have not fangirled for a game in years! It is time to see the world that I fell in love with in deeper detail! 4-10 baby!!!!!
@@Soldier1stClass The depth and detail is so exciting. Things I never knew about FF7 originally was how broken it was. It's amazing what we got from it. Sephiroth is easily number 1 villain all time in my book. With no F**** left to give just goes genocidal on the planet. And the parties commitment to each other at the end of the game.... Story was written so well. With 99% of the original staff coming back for this remake I can only see the love affair deepening.
I don't know if this will get seen, but there is some new screenshots, and I saw something I haven't seen before that has me intrigued. One of the screenshots show the train tunnel and off to the right there is a small platform, but on the platform is a "potion" vending machine.
Great video! I am very much looking forward to this remake, and the changes they've shown so far seem reasonable in regards to the (seemingly) huge expansion of the story. They've been working so hard on this game for the past years, so I have complete faith in their decisions! 10:09 I've always thought that he was mocking Cloud, toying with his fragile state of mind. Seems more fitting than Sephi not actually recognising Cloud at all. 10:17 Disagree. Cloud didn't take over Zack's memories, but rather made up his own based on what happened in Nibelheim in combination of his admiration and aspiration of becoming a 1st class like his best friend. He took over Zack's persona, but his memories are his own version of what he wished happened. Other wise, he should've had _some_ sorta reaction when meeting Zack's parents. Hopefully they'll make all this a bit more clear in the remake. 11:24 In CC (I know it's not really canon anymore), Hojo does know who Zack is. Makes him even more of an asshole for doing the experiments on Zack. Also, even though we - the ones who already know the story - know what Hojo is talking about, I am very intrigued about him already mentioning his theory of the reunion this early on. Another interesting change! 13:28 Agreed. Makes total sense that she'd know who Jenova is. More history on the ancients- I'm here for it! 14:06 I love this change too, because the night club adds an extra touch of humour to the cross dressing scene, which is suppose to be hilarious. Really gave me a bit of Moulin Rogue vibes the first time I saw it, haha. Or Burlesque...
I know I'm a new soldier to this channel. But I want you to know I have been a huge fan of your channel ever since the first video I watched from you. So Soldier first class, I tip my hat to you sir and I hope you keep up your positive attitude! As if I wasn't excited enough for this game, watching your videos keeps me just as excited and anxious each day. Almost to the point where I want to start counting down the hours til I go pick up my copy. You rock bro! Keep it up!!!
OF fan here as well from 1997. Pre-order is all done so just waiting for its arrival. I'm very much looking forward to what the Remake offers. Considering I've played everything that made it State-side from the compilation, I'm very open to the changes. I do believe that, while Sakaguchi is no longer a part of Square-Enix, he still has some influence to the original franchise he created. Evidence of this being having him show up to the Final Fantasy 15 Uncovered event to give his personal blessing and at least one social media post about him enjoying it. I read something a while back that him and Kitase still chat about pushing each other in making better games.
Exactly. I believe he’s given his blessing on the project if I recall a while back. His dream was to always push the limits of technology and design with each game, and Square has definitely done that over the years.
Great video! I can't wait to explore this whole world, new storylines, and in the next game probably seeing all the creatures walking around open world. they were so restricted back then. This is literally a dream come true that we all never thought would happen. We still have the old game and I'll still always play the original. Keep up the awesome vids!
Great video! This stuff needed to be said. None of us knows yet exactly how good Remake will be, but I’m personally looking forward to seeing what changes they’ve made. I’m liking almost all of them so far.
Great video. You know where I stand bro, I’m ALL IN. Nothing can stop this train we’re on! Yeah my son is almost three and he already knows the splendor! I’m working on some FF7 paintings, he saw me workin on them and brought me my PS4 controller and said “Play daddy. Quack quack” (he thinks the chocobos are chickens)
I second that notion on sharing this game with your kid. My kid loves this game (thank god!) he’s seen me replay the original, watched the movie, and anime and loves the character he’s named after (Zack). I’m totally excited for all the changes being made and hoping that Reeve is expanded on more as well. Especially when it comes to Cait Sith. I don’t think he was given enough time in the original to correctly explain how and why.
As someone who was a day 1 player in ‘97, I’m extremely excited about the remake. I was cautiously optimistic at first, having been burned so many times in the past, but the more Square shows, the more I like what I’m seeing
Great video dude. Im ok with the changes as long as they don’t mess with the main story elements too much. Also a big part of ff7 was the music, hope they don’t change it too much.
All very well said Soldier! Excellent video! And a great video idea from NightSkyPrince! Shoutout! I'm beyond excited for this remake. I've been a fan since it came out and I've been waiting for this remake since the tech demo for Ps3 in 2005. I don't mind the changes made in this remake because it does give me new stuff to play and watch as I explore this new nostalgic adventure. I'm excited to see what changes come and will roll with them. I don't want to play the same game again. The only thing I am absolutely bummed about, is that this is only the first part!! I want more! I want Chocobo racing and world map exploring, and Gold Saucer! I know that time will come. Other then that, I'm ready for whatever this reunion brings.
Haha he offered the mission, and this Soldier doesn’t turn down a challenge from FF Royalty lmao. And yeah, the Remake has the potential to be a masterpiece and I’m going to give it the chance that it deserves.
Excellent vid. I was one of those people (at the time) annoyed by some of the changes. For an example the battle system and the game having episodic releases. But the more research I do the more my criticism for the game is pretty much gone. I can't wait for me, it's a day one purchase.
Thanks man. It's hard to go into Facebook or even TH-cam sometimes, because everyone loves to shit all over this game. And this game means a lot to me, to its really depressing to see people complain so hard about such trivial things. I needed this lol
Some people think that having limited characters is something that limits replay which is why they added the abilities into the weapons which does add replay value to the game.
My thought when they first announced it was gonna be multiple full games. "HOLD UP! So not only do I finally get a remake. But I'm getting multiple!?!? Nice!" Lol.
FF7R is shaping to be like FFXIII Lightning returns, and I love/d Lightning returns. Ergo, I'm gonna love FF7R. Many of you will surely be disappointed but I'm not. I'm really looking forward to April 10th
Thanks bro. I’m just trying to promote positivity, and show that there’s more to things going on than what’s on the surface, or some knee jerk reaction.
Ppl just don't seem to understand that it is literally impossible to make ff7 one whole game with the tech they are using, or at the most would be severely cut waaaay down.
Literally impossible? No. Not at all. Simply less profitable. But that's what Square is. MMOs, endless FFXV add-ons, and micro-transactions. The episodic release is a money grab to make up for the fact they've had to scrap the game twice already. And that's not hyperbole.
@@Chris-es3wf Well i do agree that they themselves may as well call themselves "chinra" being as they are another greedy corporation, I assure you, as a developer it's pretty much impossible buddy.. look how long it took just to get midgar in a way that they had planned since the original.. check out the ultimatum :S
First video I've seen from you. Good shit. Love the positivity. I'm an original player as well and I'm very accepting of changes. If I wanted the same game I'd play the original!
This is a great video! I'm with you Soldier and really believe that this project will be incredible. I think the developers have put everything on the table with this one and I'm hopeful about it. P.S. original fan here as well and so is my brother. When the trailer dropped a couple weeks ago, we both agreed this felt like some kind of dream. Also, I remember a tie in with Pepsi when the original game came out. I was at a friend's and he had a 12 pack. I cut out the images printed on the cardboard box of Vincent, Cloud, Tifa and the FFVII logo.
Absolutely spot on, man. Thank you for this. I'm (fortunately) not following the discussions in the depths of the "hardcore community", but just the mentioning of these issues raised by ""original"" fans makes me yawn. You said it all with the observation that innovation was what brought us our beloved FFVII in the first place, and not getting stuck to fear and tested formulas. Nothing will surpass one's 20+ years crystallized nostalgia of playing the original. To demand that from game developers just shows a shallow and self-serving notion of what creativity and game-making should be all about. On top of all that, if a massive team composed by both the original creators of the game AND of hardcore and seasoned fans of the series alike can't experiment and expand on the original, hell, who could?
I'm trying to get my 11 year old nephew excited for this game, but so far he's nonplussed. I'm hoping that he'll watch me play it and want to get involved. At first I was worried that they were taking away from some of Sephiroth's mystique, but after watching your videos and the videos posted by The Nightsky Prince, I can honestly say that I'm stoked. I think you guys are right. It's going to be a hell of a ride... on a motorcycle...beating down Shin-ra punks.
It allows them to create new depth to each location AND hook you into buying into the next console to play the rest of the remake. Its a smart sales strategy.
Square Enix said multiple times "if we decide to remake FF7 it needs to surpass the original". Big words there, but so far seems to me that they'll be able to pull it off. I just hope they manage to keep it to 2 maybe 3 parts, I don't think I'll be able to afford all 1st Class Editions lol
My biggest fear is the possible swap of Aerith's and Tifa's personalities. As some fans pointed out, judging from the footage we've got, Aerith seems so calm, shy, and girly sweet; while Tifa looks energetic, confident and probably flirty. But actually in the original game, Aerith is the flirty and confident one. She pretty much says whatever she feels. She even asked Cloud out for a date when they just met in the church. And remember what happens if Cloud and Tifa go on a date in Gold Saucer? Tifa feels eclipsed by Aerith's confidence and she can't even tell her feelings to Cloud. This is commonly mistaken by people who haven't played the original game yet. Just hope it's not mistaken in the remake.
I don’t think you have to worry. I’m not sure where people are getting that thought about them swapping personalities, cause in the scene where Tifa and Cloud are talking in the 7th Heaven, she’s clearly having some confidence issues. Where as with Aerith, we see her actively going towards Cloud with the flower, and then when he walks out in the dress, she’s making fun of how shy he is, and being flirtatious. From what I’ve seen, their personalities are still very much in line with what they were in the original.
Anyways I’m glad you realized about Jenovaroth. I’ve been watching a lot about the game lately and a lot of people surprisingly misunderstood and thought that was the actual Sephiroth.
I’ve never thought it was the real Sephiroth. I only called him that because it’s easier to recognize. I knew from the original game that it was Jenova in his physical appearance haha
Yeah the dress we see Cloud in is IMO the default outfit, the game will have you work for the 'special' items. Just my thoughts, we'll just have to wait and see! 😁
Am not afraid of change. Remaking something it means its worth doing it . And ff7 was one the best ff games ever . Like you said we finally got camera angle , and cut scenes were we can understand things even better then when we had to read all the time . I only afraid of that they might throw Zack off the story . Also by remaking 7 we MIGHT get the chance of getting a Crisis Core remake . I actually love what they did . Changing the battle system and everything was amazing . Don't get me wrong people i have played ff from the very first one . And i loved it . But being a little more free then before its nice . Take for example final fantasy 7 crisis core , ff 7 Cerberus , ff 11 , ff12 , ff14 , ff0 and finally ff 15. Don't be afraid of the change. Embrace it along with your dreams and honour
@Aaron9 Well its good to hear your opinion but that's what you think 😏😉 If you wanna know something with details go the last video Soldier_1stClass made and see my comment am not gonna explain this again 😂🤣 . You will find all the answers you want there . Take care mate
@@Articuno224 are you talking to me ? 😯 Well i don't mind changes as long as they don't interfere with the story much or at least if it does make it better . I never said i hate changes . However cause you might got me wrong listen . Changes are only were there are needed . There's no need to over do it cause some changes may not be for the better and people might not like them . For example i say Zack should be alive you say its better he is dead . What if they killed Cloud and brought Zack back ? It would be good for me but bad for you . See were am going with this ? Of course in my opinion i would prefer both of them to be alive and well but since am not the writer 😂 ..... That's why a lot of people are afraid mate . And i understand that cause i feel the same with RE . I see so many changes but not for the better . And the new generation loves it when its actually ruined . Anyways its good as long as they don't over doing it Besides we still got time to see ! The game hasn't being released yet 😉
I’m really happy to see this, I feel like lately there’s been so much negativity swirling around the remake. I honestly think there’s a lot of things/info they’re holding back on for the full release that’ll blow us away.
Soldier_1stClass dude just like you said in your video the more stuff I’ve seen about the changes they’ve made the more excited I am. I fully want an experience that will surprise me but still have that hint of nostalgia.
Guys..... this video is great positive vibes and being greatfull... we are getting a game we dont deserve and still shocked they pushed the button in 2015. These " changes" are not bad but also spicy and sexy we will shocked and jaw dropped when we get our hands on this master piece in apr 10th... stay positive fellas and thankyou for the video brother respect and I hope you get the game sooner to review. 🤟
Original Fan here as well, 37, got this game on Christmas of ‘97 when I was 14... super stoked for all the Promise (see what I did thurr) and can’t wait for my Reunion. Also on a side note, 2 kids, 7 and 5 and both little boys are hyper excited for the Remake. The older boy has been playing FFVII on iOS since he was 3. 👍👍 Every trailer we compare/discuss who our favorite character is, both boys are in the Cloud camp while Tifa will always be my ride or die.
Couple hours over 56 days left until release. I sense no further variables that could be taken as harmful to the Remake. I was sceptical, but now I'm counting days. I am positive that I am going to at least enjoy this game and if it does something immensely positive, elevating my immersion; I consider this as a surprising and appreciated bonus. 👍🏻😁
First off, enjoy the videos you produce and appreciate the time you put into them! Keep up the good work! But, I have a suggestion: If you're going to mention spoilers, maybe put a link/timestamp to a point after the spoiler talk for people trying to avoid those. I know it's an old game and if you're watching youtube videos it's hard to avoid them, but you never know who would appreciate the little details like this!
Yeah it’s difficult to talk about stuff like that. I might start implementing timestamps when possible. Even though I’ve been on here for a year now, I’m still learning a lot of stuff about TH-cam haha
My 4 year old boy came up to me one day with a cup on his hand saying he had a gun arm. I immediately showed him Barret and he loves him lol. So yeah im excited to share this remake with him for sure.
Stephen Oveson that’s awesome! Proud dad moment I’m sure haha

I think it would definitely be really cool for character relationship building. One of Wedge’s descriptors is about food and taste testing at the 7th Heaven.

Personally I want the clothes to be dirty as well as the skin, for characters to get wet when splashed with water, etc. Like in 15
@@Killer_Kool7 yes I'm positive we will be getting something like that
OG Fan here, I remember playing this game when I was 10yrs old.
Matt lmao that’s awesome! I’m glad you’re sharing this with the next generation. That’s awesome!
I'm more worried for part 2 then this part. Nibelheim has a very explicit ending point but the other parts will be harder to pick their endings.
lol,Life before and after ff7R :P
I pray this will be an astounding success that will talked about for just as many years as the original! 🙏🙏🙏
@@SUPERSIDESWIPER you mean Nibelheim in Cloud's story when they are in Kalm Town, right?
SUPERSIDESWIPER Nah I feel like they all could have great ending points, especially if it’s a trilogy. Part 2 of the remake can be from where part 1 left off to the incident in ancient city (end of disc 1 in og FF7. Even though personally I’d start game 2 off with the Nibelheim flashback just to spice things up. Then game 3 can pick up at where disc 2 of the og FF7 started and it could finish from there since disc 2 and 3 don’t have nearly as much content as disc 1
Hell yeah bro! Proud of you!
Mission. Accomplished. Senpai.

Troy Duhe it’s really awesome dude. I can’t help but get emotional sometimes when I see how excited he gets. He even makes me play the Aps demo whenever we’re in the car! 🤣😂

Who doesn't love Ifrit? ;) and he looks awesome in the Remake

"Long ago, we looked upon a foreboding sky.
The memory of the star that threatened all burns eternal in our hearts.
In its wake came an age of silence.
Yet with each fond remembrance, we knew:
That someday, we would see them again.
Perhaps it was no more than wishful thinking.
But after the long calm, there are now beginnings of a stir.
The reunion at hand may bring joy, it may bring fear.
But let us embrace whatever it brings.
For they are coming back.
At last, the promise has been made."

Oh shoot wrong comment brother my bad
I cant spend my money on less than a third of the game... an ffvi remake would be unbelievable but it won't happen... Tetsuya didn't even include any of the ff6 characters in KH, as far as I know.
I also have no Fear. Impatience though.. yes

@@resetbutton7982 Keep dreaming that dream, buddy. Probably 2022 at the earliest. Which is fine!
At least 2 years between parts, being optimistic, I bet something between 2 or 3 years.
My concerns mostly revolve around saves transferring between games (especially with the next gen console around the corner), level caps per installments, and new game+ features and how they would work
personally I’m very excited since this is going to be my first final fantasy game and never played the original version of it
Welcome to the FF family! If there’s anything you want to know, feel free to ask!
I agree, give the original a try.
I’d rather not play the original because I’m going to buy remake not the original and I’m not super big on turn based games I’m much more of an action gamer and I don’t want to compare the original to the remake

"Imagine the world map"
I honestly struggle to imagine the world map, I genuinely believe we'll not be getting a world map at all and later games if they have multiple locations at all will just have a "Travel to" option or just have you go there as part of the story automatically.
I cant see them following the thing ppl complained about FF13-1 and taking a step backwards away from FF15.
Yeah with the PS5 coming they’re gonna want to take a crack at creating the world map of 7 for sure. I doubt they’d take a step back.

@@Soldier1stClass So you can just keep using buster sword? even at later stages of the game and it will still be good to fight harder foes?

This video 👏HIT👏THE👏 NAIL👏 ON👏THE👏 HEAD! 👌
Thanks! Worked decently hard on it lmao
And also slap Part 1 on the cover or Part 2 on the next part to avoid further confusion to new players. lol
I'm so excited for other Soldier members in the game, especially higher class soldiers. They're Elite, make them special plz
And honestly, I feel new SOLDIER members could be a good way to introduce more potential superbosses of sorts, especially in these earlier games.
I though FF6 was one of your favorite FFs. (It is for me)

I've been an FF7 fan since 1997 as well, and I'm really hyped with the remake.

Honestly, I have total faith in the team at Square Enix.
can you imagine Final Fantasy X-3 (Jecht, Auron, and Braska's journey through Spira) using this combat system with the Aeons?
I would love a 10-3 for sure. As long as it’s better than 10-2 haha
I totally agree. It’s why X is tied with 7 for my favorite game of all time.

For sure. I’m not worried at all! Glad to see ya!
Totally looking forward to this but not going to lie, Briggs floating off the ground after jumping off the train worried me.
I wouldn’t worry too much. One of the reasons they delayed for polish.
Exactly! Let’s go!
Yep I saw them. I’ll be making a video as soon as I get home in a few minutes. Thanks for the heads up though, I definitely appreciate it.
Well said.
It’s amazing what responsible, clear and logical content can do.
Thanks for another great video.
My way of copping with this is that i am not playing the original and trying to forget it so i can enjoy the remaster.
I know I'm a new soldier to this channel. But I want you to know I have been a huge fan of your channel ever since the first video I watched from you. So Soldier first class, I tip my hat to you sir and I hope you keep up your positive attitude!
Wonder if we get to meet the first ever Soldier 2nd Class???

Great video! This stuff needed to be said. None of us knows yet exactly how good Remake will be, but I’m personally looking forward to seeing what changes they’ve made. I’m liking almost all of them so far.
Yeah the people against the game can be annoying. There’s even a TH-cam channel called “Fuck the Final Fantasy 7 Remake”. Tasteless.
I can sense the salt lol
Yikes. I’m not shocked though tbh lmao
That’s awesome! Sharing it with the next generation is something I think we all need to do.
As someone who was a day 1 player in ‘97, I’m extremely excited about the remake. I was cautiously optimistic at first, having been burned so many times in the past, but the more Square shows, the more I like what I’m seeing
Great overview of the positive points of the changes 👏👏👏👏
That’s awesome! I’m glad you’re excited. More people need to research the game for sure! Welcome to the other side haha
Thanks man. It's hard to go into Facebook or even TH-cam sometimes, because everyone loves to shit all over this game. And this game means a lot to me, to its really depressing to see people complain so hard about such trivial things. I needed this lol
Yeah it gets old quick lmao. Which partially inspired this video.
Some people think that having limited characters is something that limits replay which is why they added the abilities into the weapons which does add replay value to the game.
I think people nitpick too much lmao
Wow this was really well done . You actually made me excited for this game
I really enjoy this style of video, very well done
My thought when they first announced it was gonna be multiple full games. "HOLD UP! So not only do I finally get a remake. But I'm getting multiple!?!? Nice!" Lol.
I'm not cautiously optimistic I'm freaking excited!

Next level analysis, now that's something to share.
Thanks bro. I’m just trying to promote positivity, and show that there’s more to things going on than what’s on the surface, or some knee jerk reaction.
Ppl just don't seem to understand that it is literally impossible to make ff7 one whole game with the tech they are using, or at the most would be severely cut waaaay down.
Yeah if they did that, the game would go by in a blur.

Who's scared not me so forget what everyone is fearful about im going to enjoy it.
You and Final Fantasy Union should collaborate. I normally don't like video game TH-camrs but you both are excellent

I won't be wasting my money on a third of the game, have fun financing Tetsuya Nomura's wet dream....
This is going to be so great. There is nothing to worry about. Can't wait for April 😁😀😍
Another question I have is that was Roche another one of Hojo’s experiments as a Sephiroth clone?
I would say he’s just his own character. Rosche is 3rd Class, so he wouldn’t have had the 1st Class enhancements like Sephiroth or Zack.
I laughed way too hard at "Lifestream Voicemail Service".
I try to throw in a joke or two in every video lmao
Fear is the path to the dark side. I have spoken.
@Aaron9 Well its good to hear your opinion but that's what you think 😏😉
If you wanna know something with details go the last video Soldier_1stClass made and see my comment am not gonna explain this again 😂🤣 . You will find all the answers you want there . Take care mate
Nice to see someone who isn't so afraid/resistant to change!! changes can be for the better, otherwise the word "improvement" wouldn't even exist
Aaron9 crisis core is canon. It’s literally the prequel to FF7
@@Articuno224 are you talking to me ? 😯
Well i don't mind changes as long as they don't interfere with the story much or at least if it does make it better . Anyways its good as long as they don't over doing it
Besides we still got time to see ! The game hasn't being released yet 😉
@@monojuice ♥️♥️♥️
I've got a MASSIVE fear that I'm gunna go 100% batshit insane waiting for this game to come out... 🥳
the one summon I wanna know about is Knights of the Round
I wonder how thatd work in the new combat system, if at all
Yeah that’s gonna be insane. It can work, but it’s gonna be epic haha
I’m really happy to see this, I feel like lately there’s been so much negativity swirling around the remake. I honestly think there’s a lot of things/info they’re holding back on for the full release that’ll blow us away.
There’s too many sites and youtubers spreading fear because “oh no, it changed”
I really hope I do too. This game has been my whole life for over a year now, it would be the sweetest of rewards lmao
How could you not love this game already? It looks amazing in every possible way.
