Just like Uncle Roger said, Jamie saw sambal and bought the closest thing possible and it's chilli jam. Jamie saw peanut paste and bought the closest thing he can find, peanut butter.
He heard cashews go into the gravy and thought the curry made out of cashew butter. They put like 5-6 cashews to add an extra layer of richness. He put in 30 cashews worth of cashew butter and no actual butter.
i will have to say though, second guy who was making the gado gado doesn't know what it is lol. 'Peanut butter in south east asian???' he is questioning peanut butter, but little does he know that its in a lot of stuff. Sate sauce, Gado Gado dipping sauce, its in a lot of dipping sauce as a base lol.
