Great technical information Owen, love to see Judo used no gi and it's effectiveness. Took myself and Jakob years to evolve our judo for No gi and mma.
The International Judo Federation should create a No Gi competition category. It would modernize Judo and make it more practical.

Does no gi judo exsist in Japan ?
Not sure about no gi judo but there are some clubs that teach leg grabs and banned subs.
