Imagine going to Germany and talking to *literally* Hitler for hours and then coming home to the United States to segregated bathrooms and such.

Why didn't the video explain the process of how Milton Samuel J. Wright ended up traveling to Heidelberg, Germany, becoming fluent in German, and successfully completing his PhD in Economics at the University there, in the first place? As a Black man from the U.S. South (Savannah, Georgia), in the early 1930's, this is a rare accomplishment in itself. Even 90 years later in today's world, this accomplishment would be very rare.
Because that would defeat the narrative that black people are stupid.

The fact that Germany was (and arguably still is) entrenched in White Nationalism and white supremacy to the point of many Africans living in Germany around the beginnings of WWII and Hitler’s push for Aryan supremacy and preservation resulted in many black being ostracized, killed, and run out of Germany. Few even discuss or know about many Africans living in Germany being eliminated during the holocaust in the gas chambers.
Primarily due to labor shortages after WW1 many black Americans left the country during the 1920-1930’s to pursue career opportunities and attempt to escape racism. Some went to Russia, Germany, France and the UK. No surprise this is not taught in school.

Why on God's green Earth would anyone celebrate, mention, discuss or even acknowledge a black man that Hitler screamed racist rants at as being an important event in Black History?
The Nazis permitted African soldiers to serve as auxiliaries in the Waffen-SS. The Germans treated them as equals with German and African soldiers bunking together, eating together and fighting side by side on the battlefield. Its rather ironic that the Nazis treated black soldiers with far more dignity and respect than the U.S. army did.

Thank you. I didn’t know anything about this brilliant man. Thank you again. I shared this with my German heritage friend in Nashville TN and he was blown away and like I was. Then stated why were we never taught about this meeting and Hitlers respect for this man. This is a big deal. The more we learn the more you can see the game being played. @@tbphillips9649 There were very few instances of Black soldiers on the German side and it doesn't tell anything about whether Hitler liked Blacks.
This was mostly in North Africa during the Africa Campaign of Rommel (who was later forced by Hitler to kill himself), when the Germans recruited auxiliary soldiers for their Afrika Korps among the local population, which included Berbers (Amazigh), Arabs and a few Blacks too. These troops were unfortunately mostly used as cannon fodder against the British in battles like the Tobruk Siege.
Also, whether someone utilizes Black troops doesn't tell you anything about whether they respect Blacks and fully accept their human rights! Even the Apartheid Regime of South Africa used Black soldiers and agents to maintain white hegemony and oppress Blacks by spying on them, abducting, torturing and often murdering them if they dared to resist apartheid. This almost always happened with the involvement of Black informers working for the racist regime! Does that mean that the apartheid regime loved Blacks?

Story is that H was mad because Jesse won Gold over Germany. Truth is H waved and congratulated Jesse. Germany would go on to win the most medals and the most Gold medals at the Olympics that year.
Later during the war Germany dropped leaflets to black US soldiers, who were still segregated from the rest of the military. Explaing how blacks actually had more rights in Germany than the US. Explaining how blacks were still being lynched in the country they were fighting for. Germans weren't going around genocideing others. In reality it was the opposite. They served in the army and the children were in the Hitler Youth. Those were citizens of Germany’s colonies who lived in Germany proper and Germany’s colonies got all stolen by the allies. You didn't show Malcolm X which would have brought balance to said objective.... It was they who'd heard his comment about assassinating their boss. The meeting actually took place over a dinner for two in Hitler's hotel suite and lasted for several hours. I've read the entire article describing this incident in a reprint of this 1932 article in the Pittsburgh Courier which I requested by mail back in the 1970's after reading about this encounter in one of J.A. Rogers' books.
