I wish in this game punch animations varied depending on the fighter instead of all fighters having the same punch animations. kinda like in UFC 2, how Robbie lawler had those heavy, powerful looking strike animations & some fighters didnt have the same animation. In this game, all fighters throw punches the same, its kinda inauthentic

Yup... And Id say yes and no. One could say that Stipe was absolutely terrified of him. He was extremely defensively sound, kept his hands up high, moved his head and feet and constantly went for Takedowns to avoid striking.... And it paid off. Overeem on the other hand ran head first at him in like the first second of the fight with no fear, throwing looping punches... And then got KO'd. My point is... I think the fear can either lead to a smart Gameplan or pure recklessness... Depending on how you use it. Being afraid of Ngannou is healthy... As long as it's paired with a solid, smart Gameplan.

I'll never forget facing Francis in career mode as a 5'11, 210 lb 45 year-old and knocking him out in 7 seconds with a spinning roundhouse. At that point, I knew the game was broken.
They could implement this as a boss character. Some fighting games have events where you can fight a super version of an existing character as an online event. Street Fighter 5 has done this with Ryu and Akuma, EA could do this with certain fighters. Francis having literal one shot power, Khabib having an unstoppable takedown, etc...
It’s not that hard to beat him in a striking match i tried it too you just gotta pressure so that he keeps throwing strikes and only attack when his stamina is low eventually you’ll get him
Yeah. They should add perks to certain fighters (Power puncher lvl 1 - 5) Each level increases damage by a lot, but also increases stamina usage. Also, they should add the ability to use power punches or fast punches (like in Fight Night). There's not enough of a difference between stamina and power in this game. Power really doesn't mean shit, speed is more important.
I think the game would be much better if it were made more realistic, like a pull counter left with conor should be a rock/drop every time at 145, or landing a clean head kick with someone like barboza or crocop should be a ko. For the masses it probably shouldn't be hyper realistic, but strikes should definitely do much more damage than they do currently
I think slider sets to individual fighters based on their ratings would create a more realistic game. So instead of attributes alone you’d also see tuned sliders based on the fighters strengths and weaknesses. I actually believe doing this would create a much more realistic experience in all sports games.

after watching this video i decided to give it a try. i put the same stats on the fight. i tryed to beat him with overeem jds and mark hunt. i found more success with mark hunt(3 actual wins out of 10) overeem and jds i managed to get one win each however both of the wins were pure luck.
I would LOVE if the power was realistic. I'd be all down for guys like Ngannou and other extremely powerful fighters (although to a lesser degree for them) having insane one-shot power in the first round and a half - even late in the fight as long as it's a power shot. You'd have to make the game a true 60fps and improve/increase the defensive tools tenfold + adjust stamina (UD3 sim did this very well) to compensate and give it even a semblence of balance (plus it would also increase realism). The Ngannou CAF I have in UD3 has 99 power and rocked Schaub in TWO shots from side control. It's crazy. His downside is his cardio, which I set in the 60s. He has to finish early or risk gassing out later on.
I got the design from the MMA-CAF Facebook group, but I did the stats myself and did make some slight facial adjustments since - sure, I can post the formula video for you? Some CAFs I got from the MMA-CAF group, others I made myself (Santos, Jacare, Fury). Good fun, the CAF system in UD3 allows for much more flexibility when designing a fighter.

Not quite realistic. You made him a little too powerful. A little less damage so that his hooks could drop them but not the jabs and straights, that would be realistic
hey martial I think they need to focus on the other strong aspects of ngannou's game more than his raw power. he has enough to be balanced if you pic your shots. but in my opinion his ability to walk someone down is far worse in game than in real life. it prevents you from being an aggressor like you see his fighting style really is like. It breeds this cowboy style, slow the fight, counter. the opposite i've seen ngannou do in every one of his fights

On the feet you need to implement body work and a willingness to not engage to beat him. You also can't put your back anywhere near the fence or you will get caught out.
Me and my brother do this stamina cost all the way up and power all the way up on stand and bang. We gotta be really cautious because if you miss one shot and get hit its over

This is why I don’t play the legendary mode on normal settings. It’s absurdly unrealistic. Sure it’s a nice challenge, but with sports games I just want them to be realistic.
I always play with settings like that, It's a little more realistic. The game, however, doesn't give you enough defensive and movement options for it to be balanced with high damage.
This just gave me a great idea. You should make the settings to fight the Diaz brothers where your strikes do barely any damage and they have minimal stamina loss for w.e they do. Make it happen !
i wouldn't mind the game being like that at all for specific fighters guys like rumble or ngannou should be able to touch you and put you to rest, especially if they land flush; but EA should make it to where your gas tank gets devoured if you're missing
Francis is powerfisul but I think the reason he very good with knockouts, people who fight him fight like everyone else and don't come in with the right gameplan and people in the heavyweight division throw haymakers all the time and he with his power and very good boxing and footwork he capitalizes.
