I'm guessing these activities are pretty much identical to Indian dances, dress, and chants from hundreds of years ago. Compare that to Europeans and Americans whose abstract thinking developed mighty advances in all sorts of human endeavors.
These young ladies and gentlemen take pride in their performances. If you truly know what the performance represents you would truly appreciate it. It may have been done hundreds of years ago but we take pride in passing traditions down generations to generations so that way we keep it going to give blessings to those who believe and appreciate. But thanks for your comments I hope you enjoyed the performance. Many blessings to you and your family.

Yes, the world has become enamored of splitting into tribes (cultural, racial, class, etc.) I suppose because they are desperate to find common ground with people they know who are also looking for acceptance. Another way of saying this that folks are more interested in division instead of uniting. So the unique quality of the United States is going away. And the irony is, that with more division, groups feed upon the idea that separation is more desired. And it becomes "tradition."
