Thanks for doing this video. I am a male, but love the LV Speedy. I carry a Speedy 35 everywhere. I think men can carry a Speedy in the larger sizes and it works. I get alot of compliments when I have my bag with me from both men and women. I have been wanting a 40, but have never seen one, so this is helpful. I am amazed at how much larger it is. I really like the look and think that the Speedy 40 would work for me. Great video. ;)
Crap sorry as I’m watching I have another question lol creases mine came with creasing from storage do you have advice on getting those out besides stuffing with towels and blow dryer? I’m going to try that but I know you get a lot of bags so I was hoping you had some great vintage tips ? ! I do have to get a rivit fixed but I was told the store will do that
Decisions decisions. I used to have a 30 and a 35 and sold them both. Now I'm looking to repurchase either a 35 or a 40. I do quite a lot of traveling so the 40 seems like a no-brainer but I'm still unsure if I could rock it on the daily and I've also heard (!!!) that the 40 knocks into people and things. I'm not a base-shaper gal myself, so there would be some sag which I adore but what a decision. :( I'm really stuck. I used to live quite close to several LV stores but no more - alas between the pandemic and my location, I must buy online (yikes) and just want to make the right decision the first time around. Sigh.
Buying myself the 40 once I open my business to carry in everyday. So excited! Thanks for the comparison. I think a laptop would be uncomfortable in the 35 with all my other million things.
I LOVE THE SPEEDY 40! I have wanted it for a long time. I’m getting it soon. I have two 35 (monogram and Damier Ebene) One of my all time favorite bags. I own many handbags but the Speedy is my love. Thanks for sharing. HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊🎈🎆

I'm not a shoulder bag fan as I don't like bags falling off my shoulder when I'm busy so I tend to stick to cross body, but I'm so drawn to the speedy for some extra space, as it's more of a crook of the arm bag do you think it would be easier to wear (than a shoulder bag) giving a hands free feel similar to a cross body?
The 35 is more my speed, I have it in the monogram and I am in love with the size, so roomy and I love the sagging in my bag, as for the 40... it’s a no... great as a overnight bag only imo, it’s too much of a duffel bag to use as a everyday purse.
I am curious as I have both bags too. Tend to favor my 35 but it’s tight. I get the 40 out and I put a base shaper in and also have an organizer I could use but either way it looks too boxy to me. If I don’t put anything in too saggy. What do you think? The sagginess wouldn’t bother me but I noticed that the piping starts to curl inward that way. Suggestions?
Hi I love ur videos 🥰 I just purchased a classic vintage speedy 40 from Japan and I hope the size works for me but I have the 35 bando and love it I just thought hand held the 40 would be pretty. My question is do you think it’s practical to add a strap to? Or should I just carry hand held when using the 40?
I see the creases on the 40. How do you store your bags? I have quite a bit and running out of space and I’m scared that I may ruin them if I store them folded like it comes from the store. Right now I have them stuffed in their dust bags. Pls help me

I am 5’4 1/2 but I»m rocking my vintage speedy 40 as a gym bag. Love it to bits! But the vintage smell is still drving me crazy! 😅
