Yipes. Been playing this wrong for 50 years. I’m not sure which is more amazing to me. That I’ve been playing it wrong…..or the fact that it actually was released 50 years ago!!!!
I've struggled with the intro riff....which he skips, but it's played again at the end of the first verse....approx :41 sec mark. Not sure why I've been unable to figure just that part out....but I'm glad I know now.

The musician that held the chair of second trumpet in Benny Goodman's band was a dynamite cat in his day. Do you know his name? Few do. Truth is there lots of spectacular musicians in every generation but their fame is limited. Songwriters are another matter. We can go back centuries to names like W.C. Handy and Stephen Foster who have shaped our culture. To say that Keith Richards is not a good guitarist is invalid. He is good enough to compose hundreds of songs. How many smash hits has Mick Taylor written?

Yipes. Been playing this wrong for 50 years. I’m not sure which is more amazing to me. That I’ve been playing it wrong…..or the fact that it actually was released 50 years ago!!!!
I've struggled with the intro riff....which he skips, but it's played again at the end of the first verse....approx :41 sec mark. Not sure why I've been unable to figure just that part out....but I'm glad I know now.
