I suggest leaving them in your ear for 10 minutes or until they are completely hard to the touch. These are a big improvement over the two part moldable plugs I’ve used in the past.
Clear. Straightforward. No extra information. Information in perfect sequence. No visual distractions. Pleasant visually and pleasant voice. Easy to follow. Products laid out in an easily understandable form. This should be a model for other sellers. The best.
Got theses from BattlBox monthly gear subscription. Excellent product as I just wore them out shooting for the first time. When rifle shooting I wear both my electronic muffs and these plugs. Really assist if the muffs shift during shooting and I still have protection.
One thing I kinda wish you had shown is the final mold of the earpieces. I've done this about 4 times now and realized that having the plug stick out a little helps when you need to replace them with lanyard one. Overall good tutorial though.
These earplugs do give you much better noise protection thanks to the mold than the silicone tips alone or the foam earplugs. I can see it would work much better if you are in a super noisy environment. I would not use these for sleeping. You have to press hard for the tips to fit snuggly inside the ear carnal and it gives you pain after an extended period of use. The common issue associated with silicone tips alone does not go away because of the mold but instead it increases the footprint in your ear. I'll give up my search of ear plugs and stay with the foam ones.
Thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately these work for some for sleeping and not for others, so I'm sorry that they did not work for that purpose for you. However, if you find that you need Earplugs for the standard noisy environment, then hopefully you'll be able to use Decibullz! Thanks again and we appreciate the feedback!
@@hh-qy8ztthere are no common issues with silicon tips. I've been using earplugs of all types for over 2 decades. This person obviously has odd shaped ears. You need to show how they fit into people's ears better. Does the round part of the plugs face the back of the head, or the top of the head? Does the round part of the plugs point towards the ground or point towards the face? The man giving the demonstration hid the answers to those questions with his hands.

Great question! The "back plug" part creates a sound seal, so no noise makes it past that. The tips can be open or closed it doesn't affect the levels of isolation.
Should I wash them after a couple of uses? Is there a specific way to clean them? Because I have used disposable ear plugs since I started shooting, so I'm a bit confused how hygiene works on these. Thanks!
I’ve always hated disposable so I bought these but haven’t molded yet I prefer over war but I would try a wet cloth with cold water or rub it under a cold faucet, please let me know if you try

I have really small ear canals and cannot typically use the ear buds that have the internal plastic bud piece. I can only really use the older apple pods type. Is the smallest piece smaller than typical plastic pieces?
When using the smallest size of either the silicone or foam tip, these typically are fine with small ear canals. We'd love for you to give them a try, that's the great thing about them being custom moldable, you can switch the tips to see what sizes work best for you and the molding material forms for your specific ear shape and size.
I bought the plugs and lanyard. Should I attach the lanyard backs when I heat the earplugs, or the stand alone backs? If I do the latter, will I be able to remove the backs so I can then attach the lanyard?
You can attach either the lanyard or the stand-alone back plugs for the molding process and they will be able to be removed and replaced with what you choose after the molding is completed. Hope that helps, but always reach out to our support team if you need additional support - support@decibullz.com
You only need to heat and shape them once, or until you have a great fit. However, once you have a comfortable mold, you do not need to reheat to use. They keep their shape once molded. (Just do not leave them in direct sunlight or extreme temps, that is the one thing that can deform them).
In my experience they won’t seal as good as they do right after molding themmmmm I’m honestly on the way to work and literally going to reheat them, put them in my ears, and leave them there bc that’s how they work best for me and some other people
I must be doing something wrong cause these are a pain to to mold. Never get a good seal. After taking them out never seem to get the same hearing protection
The Custom Molded Earplugs work great for dampening noises across all decibel levels. They are not noise canceling, but rather noise isolating. Use these with the foam tips for the most isolation.

We do have a lot use them for sleeping, however, if you sleep on your side, the fit and comfort really depend on how deep or shallow your ear canals are and if when you're laying on your side, if these are not able to be flush in your ears, they just might not be comfortable enough for all night. Yes, you can use in water. We have tested the Custom Molded Earplugs for swimming and they do well at keeping out most of the water. The only thing you'll have to replace are the tips, as they wear out over time. If you use the foam, replace every 4-6 months and if you use the silicone, you only have to replace if they tear.
4:20 doesn't make sense... If I "feel that the tips are too deep in my ear", wouldn't changing out for larger size silicone tips make the tips go even deeper into my ear??? I'm confused!?!?!?
Changing out to a larger size will not make the tips go deeper in the canal. It helps with isolation and comfort when changing out the size for what fits best for your situation. Hope that helps!
Okay....so once I have them molded.....do you continue to put the whole thing into your ear? The 3 pieces???? Or just the actual plug....I am afraid the plug may get stuck. I am going to be wearing these at the shooting range.

How do you get these to work in a motorcycle helmet? They seem to leave no sliding room, and they get pulled right over when my full face helmet is put on. My brother's ARAI is even smaller around the neck and is a pain in the ass.
The fit and comfort can vary depending on your helmet style. Normally they work best if you have some room around the ear for the earpiece to sit. When remolding, place the palm of your hand flush with your ear, if you do not feel any molding material, then they will work. If you have molding material sticking out, try to remold and get the material flush. Otherwise, if it is sticking out, it can get pulled by the helmet or become uncomfortable.
Yeah I bought them after seeing a motorcycle review and their infograph showing a motorcycle on it, I put the helmet on and it hurt. then the pain of trying to take the helmet off with them in was worse. I even flattened them down as much as possible, they are useless for motorcycle helmets, I just wasted money.
Why is this tutorial 7 minutes long and no final product is shown? They look like hard crack candy when you try and make the recipe at home and have no thermomenter. For me the plastic dried before I even got them in my ears. Edit: you have to use pressure to mold the plugs with your hands and fingers as opposed to setting them in your ears and allowing them to sink into the shape. Other companies have products that do not need pressure and your hands to form and this information was not clearly shared in the video. With that in mind, I kind of wish this was a 30 second reel or tiktok with a long form video for further information. This video feels random and it skips faqs that are sure to come up.
is there a "vent" in the earplugs to prevent pressure and suction in the ear? in other words is there a way for the pressure to normalize and stay equal?

These float to the top of the water.
That is ok if they float to the top of the water as long as they get warm enough to shape to your ears. If you need any help please contact us at support@decibullz.com.
Followed the tutorial and mine began to melt... I guess I'm gonna take them back and exchange for new ones
We'd love to help you out as it sounds like you might have received a counterfeit product. If you'd reach out to our support team, let us know where you purchased them and send a picture, we can help further as well. support@decibullz.com
Thank you.
Wtf. The browning ones dont come with the plastic plugs
When it says use glass - Use heatproof glass , not an expensive wine glass
Take a look at our acoustic filters. www.decibullz.com/decibullz-custom-molded-high-fidelity-earplugs-for-concerts-musicians-and-noise-sensitivity/ They should meet your needs.
Excellent video. One suggestion would be to put a timer in the bottom corner of the screen so if someone is watching the video while waiting for their plugs to soften they can keep track
The video isn’t in real time or else they’d have a 5 min wait after they’re in the water.
@@DavisInDuval yeah but it's still more than 5 minutes long

it's not as simple as that.. I hurt my ear during the moulding process. the hearing protection is of poor quality
Where can I order replacement silicon and foam tips?
www.decibullz.com
The plastic filter is too big, mold material is not high quality. I saw a lot of reviews for motorcycle use. I am 100% sure they were bought. Its impossible use this plugs with a decent full face helmet. Impossible. You will feel pain.
I am so upset with the product and with the channel that for sure got paid to talk good stuff about it. Shsme
Bigest shit ever , zero stars !
So, I used hot water and the wax melted off. Not worth the $. 👎🏼
